Here's Everything We Know About the Wisconsin Temple Shooting Suspect Wade Michael Page

The man suspected of killing at least six people yesterday at a Milwaukee-area Sikh temple has been unofficially identified as Wade Michael Page. The shooter was killed by police.

Here's everything we know about Page:

Page is described as a "heavily-tattooed, 40-year-old ex-Army soldier." Neighbors told Fox News that he had a 9-11 tattoo.

Sources told CBS News he was 6-foot-tall bald white man who "seemed like he had a purpose and knew where he was going." NBC reports that he was said to be "wearing some sort of tactical-type pants but no bulletproof vest or protective gear."

In 1994, Page was arrested for causing criminal damage to property between $20 and $200, according to BuzzFeed, which examined Texas court records. The crime, to which Page pleaded guilty, was a class B misdemeanor, BuzzFeed reported.

Bloomberg reports that Page was "discharged honorably from the Army in 1998 after six years of service" after serving from April 1992 through October 1998 as a sergeant and later a specialist, working as a Hawk missile system repairman before becoming a psychological operations specialist.

He was stationed at Ft. Bliss in Texas and at Ft. Bragg in North Carolina while originally being from Colorado. He was discharged from the Army for "patterns of misconduct," Reuters reported.

Page was never stationed overseas and in 1998 he was disciplined for being drunk on duty. That disciplinary action resulted in his rank being reduced from sergeant to specialist, according to Reuters. Page was not eligible to re-enlist, sources told Reuters.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a group that has studied hate crimes for decades, reports that Page was "a frustrated neo-Nazi who had been the leader of a racist white-power band." They have a picture but we have not confirmed it. Here is End Apathy's MySpace page.

Busted from E-5 to E-4. “Misbehavior.” “Patterns of misconduct.” Short version: loser. In a few minutes, ABC will announce he was a Tea Party member. One notes he is identified as a veteran in the news networks’ first sentence. Turds.

And again, the scum-bag is treated with deference, his FULL name is used to ensure he gets a full share of “Glory” for his crime!

HE should get no more than “WMP”, pronounced as “Wimp”, whenever anyone has to bring him up.

Stop glorifying these turds!

If the myspace stuff is correct this was a muscle-bound skinhead complete with bizarre tats and a hate band.

Very odd if he would even be allowed in the army.

It’s purely speculative, but I’ve been wondering if he may have thought that those Sikhs were Muzzies?

I don't believe so; I think most people know the difference.

It seems more likely to me that if could have been working at the behest of some Islamist group. Muslims have been in perpetual war with the Sikhs since their foundation; the depredations of Muslims forced the Sikhs to embrace the warrior ethic we admire them for.

There are plenty of connections between White Nazis and Islamist outposts in the West. It was suggested, seems probable actually, that they were involved with the Oklahoma City bombing.

Wisconsin has some of the most permissive gun laws in the country. It passed a law in 2011 allowing citizens to carry a concealed weapon.

Big Whoop! Wisconsin was 49th out of 50 states in affirming such natural rights. Wisconsin's gun laws are no more "permissive" then any other state (except Illinois), although during the fall we manage to field a near million man army of riflemen (and woman) in pursuit of the elusive white tail.

GtG

I am of the same opinion. The MSM is incapable of reporting this possibility. It does not fit their marxist template. As pointed out above Marxism and Naziism are leftist movements with strong ties to Muslim extremism. Evidence for this is concrete and goes back at least 70 years.

“Wisconsin has some of the most permissive gun laws in the country.”
I believe Wisconsin has long allowed open carry, although I didn’t know that during the many years that I lived in the Badger state, and despite having been born there. Perhaps a Wis. resident better informed than I will favor us with the truth about this.
However, I do know that repeated attempts to legislate concealed carry were long frustrated by the very liberal governor Doyle and a like-minded legislative majority. As soon as clear-thinking Republicans got control of the legislature, and Scott Walker became Governor, Voila!! Concealed carry!!

It’s purely speculative, but I’ve been wondering if he may have thought that those Sikhs were Muzzies? They don’t really wear the same kind of garb, but it might look similar to a crazed idiot.

The investigative reporting on this event sucks. All I could get from Fox yesterday is that four priests were killed. The cops shot him before he could kill more. That this was an act of domestic terrorism.

If he targeted the priests, I wonder how he was able to find them in a strange building filled with hundreds of strangers (to the shooter)?

If the cops shot him out side the building after he killed the few inside the building, why wouldn't I think he was making his escape and was done with killing?

Why can't we see this as an act of vengeance rather than a terror hate crime. No one is asking the Sikhs if they knew the shooter?

All the media is doing is parroting the establishment. None are digging into the facts. This was Fox yesterday. The others are likely worse.

Perhaps he went to his physical wearing pink underwear. Can’t discriminate in Barack’s army you know.

How does one get honorably discharged for "patterns of misconduct?"

A small distinction, but vitally important:

General Discharge is “under honorable conditions, but for the good of the service”, a euphemism for getting rid of misfits and potential discipline problems. Ineligible to enlist or re-enlist, even though no formal disciplinary action (such as court-martial) has been brought.

Used to be the kind of discharge given persons who were outed as homosexuals, back in the day of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”.
