Seven people were shot and killed today at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wis., in what officials are treating as a case of domestic terrorism.
Though police have not given any details on the identity or motive of the shooter, or released the identities of the victims, sources have told ABC News the shootings are the work of a "white supremacist" or "skinhead."
This evening, the FBI and a bomb squad arrived at a home in Cudahy, Wis., near Oak Creek, and ABC News Milwaukee affiliate WISN reported the action appeared to be related to the temple shootings earlier in the day.
Authorities also were trying to trace a single, semiautomatic handgun recovered at the scene, sources told ABC News.

This is from the India Times so why are the news outlet’s here saying he is a skinhead when this one says he is not and has not connection to domestic terror. I also thought it was interesting that the only run in with the law he had was a traffic violation same as the Batman Killer.

She entered on duty as a special agent and was first assigned to the Chicago Division, where she investigated violent crimes and public corruption matters. Ms. Carlson was a case agent for Operation Silver Shovel, an undercover investigation that involved bribery, drug trafficking, and organized crime activity. It resulted in more than 20 convictions, including elected officials.

I dunno. I’d need real numbers. My anecdotal experience over nearly six decades of living in America includes exactly 1 (one) encounter with a true white supremacist, and he was not even theologically Christian, actually buying into the whole Norse pantheon. We spoke of Loki. I bet he would’ve loved the Thor movie. It happened in Virginia, when I was first arriving there for law school, at the car rental place. Freaked me out a little, “Is this what Virginia is going to be like?” But never ever again after that.
Now I’ve met literally thousands and thousands of people over my lifetime, so I just don’t see even 1%, let alone 2%. I believe most people in the prison system are nominally Christian, so that’s a poor place to start. Furthermore, just like Islam, the number of people in a group that might be willing to act out their professed beliefs with aggressive violence is a bare fraction of the total number in that group.
So I conclude with others here that, absent better statistics, any identification as a white supremacist will be used to intentionally exaggerate the risk from white Christian populations for the sole purpose of enhancing the gun control argument.
They are vastly outnumbered by violent street gangs of other sorts.
The overwhelming majority of violence attributed to all of these groups comes from their criminal activity, not their political beliefs.

The prison population today in the US is largely minority (whites 35%) populated hence your perusal that since 2 percent of the US is in jail that we must be 1-2% white supremacist is nuts.
Further, very few prisoners are actually white supremacists...maybe 1-500 white inmates is tough enough or mean enough to join The Brand...what most call Aryan Brotherhood and btw they are not interchangeable with Aryan nations or Christian Identity.
The average Aryan Brotherhood member adorns themselves with “white lore” but couldn't tell you Pete Peters from William Pierce or knows Posse Comitatus from Potato chips and probably would think The Turner Diaries is Ted Turner's memoirs.
