GOP to Reid: You're next
politico.com ^ | 5 Aug 12 | By CHARLES MAHTESIAN

The Sunday news shows featured a rare spectacle that at once revealed the decline of civility in Washington and the depth of GOP outrage over Harry Reid’s unproven claim that Mitt Romney didn’t pay income taxes for an entire decade: two of the nation’s top GOP officials flat out called the Senate majority leader a liar.

That’s no ordinary criticism in official Washington.

There are plenty of other ways that pols use to call out their partisan rivals on their statements. Reid’s GOP counterpart, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, for one, has already said Reid’s charge is “beneath the dignity” of his office.

Yep!! I would love to be in the room with all the dem in-fighting when Obama’s loss happens....Obama, Axlerod, Reid, Pelosi et al, playing the “blame game” for the loss, right before they have to come out and face the cameras!! You can bet it’ll look REAL CLOSE to that pic!!

The word is out that Harry Reid is a crook.
Senator Harry Reid’s Part in Green-Energy Crony-Corruption
So far our chronicle of the green-energy crony-corruption story, has focused primarily on the connections the players have to President Obama. This chapter stars Senator Harry Reid. When looking at the whole story, it’s important to note that Senator Reid “led passage of the $814 billion stimulus bill and worked to include the loan guarantee program to help finance clean-energy projects”—projects to which, as we will show, he is connected.
In a DOE press release, Reid actually bragged about how he included the green loan guarantee in the stimulus bill: “As I led passage of the stimulus bill, I worked to include the loan guarantee program to help finance clean energy projects” that will “bring us closer to energy independence.” ...
Last week, we exposed BrightSource Energy that received a $1.6 billion DOE loan. BrightSource’s executives donated almost $4000 to Reid’s 2010 campaign,...
The week before, we uncovered the fact that a couple of SolarReserve (with its $737 million loan) board members are big Democrat donors, including contributions to Obama’s 2008 campaign as well as Senator Reid. The Washington Free Beacon divulged, “…Nevada Geothermal, Ormat Nevada, and SolarReserve—are located in Reid’s home state. Executives from all three companies have donated to Reid and his fellow Democrats, contributing more than $58,000 since 2008.”
Nevada Geothermal Power
First we’ll look into Nevada Geothermal Power (NGP) as recent news exposes that its power is dimming. NGP may be the next green-energy bankruptcy.
Here’s the NGP thumbnail presented in the introduction to the green-energy crony-corruption story:
Nevada Geothermal Power (NGP) holds leasehold interests in six geothermal projects located in the Western United States. They hold a BB+ rating and received a $78.8 million loan, guaranteed by the DOE, in September of 2010. Executives from NGP contributed in 2008 to Harry Reid’s campaign. ...
Ormat Nevada
But the story continues. As we reported in the introduction, Kai Anderson, a lobbyist for NGP’s partner corporation, Ormat Technologies, Inc., is a former Senate aide to Harry Reid. Ormat’s CEO Paul Thomsen is another former Reid aide. Additionally, according to the Washington Times, “Mr. Fairbank denied knowing or lobbying Mr. Reid, but the House Oversight Committee said Ormat Inc., which was paid $80 million to build NGP’s Blue Mountain plant, has ‘strong ties’ to the senator.”

It goes on and on Harry. You are as corrupt as they come.

“Republicans had better realize that we are in the midst of a civil war. No guns and bullets yet, but in all other ways, the war has begun.”

If 0bama wins, you will be proven right. Civil war follows debt crisis, economic collapse. But right now we are witnessing an unprecedented intensification of political combat. Accusing opponents of serious felonies is a new low. So are the unconstitutional EOs and other acts. What’s the next step? Will the Dems arrest political opponents for these type of accusations?

Yes, if the GOP had worked a bit harder in Nevada in 2010, there would be no Harry Reid in the Senate today.

Sharon Angle (was that her name?) really did have a chance...I read an article a year or so ago about the last half week of that campaign.

We (the GOP) really did BLOW IT. Just like we (the GOP) let Joe Miller down in Alaska and now that liberal Murkowski is still in office.

Delaware was another blown opportunity, though it was a much more “uphill battle” than the other two.

Nevertheless, we won’t win every battle...but we’ll win many. We win wars in incremental bits of time called “battles”, and not every battle is a victory.

Don’t give up.

Now all we need is someone with enough balls to do it.

Kind of leaves out the country clubbing Republicans.

Dirty Harry Reid: The Mafia's "Mr. Clean Face" on the Nevada Gaming Commission

Reid is so mobbed up that he's a walking, talking blackmail puppet. Axlerod could order him to strip naked on the Senate floor and tar and feather himself and he would do so instantly.

Read Freeper Fedora's excellent investigative thread to understand this human slimeball, and why he is willing to be a tool in this libel campaign: he has NO CHOICE. He is a Mafia and Chicago Rat Mob puppet.

Dirty Harry Reid is so well known as a Mafia puppet, that he was featured in the movie Casino as "Harrison Roberts."

Oh no, the story is real..! I can’t recall where I read it nor can I recall who wrote it but the story is real. Its just as real as Reid’s story of Romney’s taxes. I can’t recall the author’s name but they were credible.

Something extremely bizarre with Reid and Pelosi. You have the typical asshats like Grayson and Weiner who get off on hearing themselves scream. Marxists like Maxine Waters and Bernie Sanders. Effete, European wannabes like John Kerry and Al Franken. But Pelosi and Reid seem more like droids than humans and nobody else comes close to their “creepiness” factor. Perhaps extraterrestrials? No surprise they have both been tabbed to lead their party.

It's no more rumor than any other "fact" in the MSM. Therefore, fair game to be reported, touted, flagged, bannered, highlighted, Yelled and shouted loudly across the land.

IF this were a Republican making the charge with no names or evidence, it would make the media attacks on “truthers” look tame by comparison.

There are two Americas, one that reads the Lamestream Media Pravada-Presstitute Reports, and one that knows better.

How can one be beneath the “dignity” of the office when slime like reed don’t have “dignity” to begin with? Hub??

Not YOU elhombrelibre... just asking McConnell and all the others that respond to pond scum like this as being “frustrated or saddened, or disappointed to the point whwere I want to throw upo.

Take off the darn gloves and go after him the way he has gone after others. STOP turning the other cheek. It doesn’t work... just ask George W. Bush. I don’t care for them ... I care for us and our country. They seem to want to make this whole race about the candidates and on upmanship. It’ NOT about them it is doiing what is right for this country.

Pardon my spelliong but at this point don’t care...
I am sick and tired of talking about clothing and hair styles and how much money is spent for clothes etc... I don’t care what their wives or them eat, drink or enjoy. I just want to hear that America will get their jobs back and will follow their dreams to achieve success in anyt way, shape of form they see fit. Everyone else shoiuld just BUTT OUT!

MANY people are aware of, or past victims, of Reid’s criminal enterprise.
I have spoken directly with several.

When I have pled for them to come forward the response was universal, fear for their lives, and the lives of their family members.

It seems Reid is still mob connected, has been for a very long time.

Maybe after his next stroke, and subsequent retirement, the real stories will begin to come out.
I look forward to his inditement and disgrace.

Here’s a hint, someone needs to look into his ownership of mines and mining shares.
He went to DC as a “Reformer” (Enemy) of mining, now he’s a huge owner.
Also look closer at his Indian affairs connections, what happened with water rights there.

This ALL falls at the feet of Rove! He refused to support anyone that HE didn’t hand pick, had true conservative morals, could make honest decisions on their own....WITHOUT the moderates approval.

Exactly why he would NOT back/support Newt! Newt went off their reservation far too often and Rove and his group were afraid they wouldn’t be able to control him...just like when Newt was speaker.
