Gallup has just released Barack Obama’s job approval rating for the first half of 2012, broken down by state, and the news is not encouraging for the president.

Obama’s approval rating is below 50 percent in 37 states, ranging from a 26 percent rating in Utah to a 49 percent rating in Michigan. Obama is at 50 percent or higher in just 13 states, from a 50 percent rating in Minnesota to a 63 percent rating in Hawaii. The president is most popular in Washington DC, where his job approval rating is an astonishing 83 percent.

DC is the right-sized geographical space for a community organizer to have influence.

"Because the states that don't hate him have large populations of libs (CA, NY)."

I'm in one of those....NY. My boss and I are speaking to our patients (and me, my fellow co-workers) about our current economy and the upcoming election.

He "threw away" (his words) his vote the last election, but now he's ALL Romney, still trying to convince me Romneys the guy.

I told him I'm standing still until the convention. Do I like Romney? No. But if my choice comes down to barry vs. Romney, I MUST go w/ Romney.

He will be running to keep his job, if elected this election, so I believe he might turn a hard right. I'm also waiting on whom he will choose as his VP.

One thing is for sure....he better offer Sarah the highest position in producing American energy.

Other than that, I'm still recovering from my cuts and bruises from the primary...Sarah, Herman, Newt..... =(

“But I fully expect similar results of 2008 with maybe a bit larger margin of victory of 0bama, 55% to 44% with 0bama winning all the same states as in 2008 and possibly adding Missouri and maybe even Georgia. The people are just to dependent on government assistance to let him go”

Are you feeling well? Obama has about as much chance of winning Georgia as a pig flying. If there is a landslide it will go to the Republican.

The “Washington Bank” definitely includes the welfare coffers.

Romney will win Missouri. He’s polling 50-44 against Obama.

This gives me a lot of hope. Maybe they will never fall for the hope & change BS again in their lifetimes. All one needs to do is read the differences between North & South Korea: pure Capitalism vs. pure Communism. And this administration is not in favor of Capitalism.

A fascinating read is “Nothing to Envy” by Barbara Demick on North Korea. Truly an account of the failure of communism as well as the corruption of their leaders.

Rhode Island 58 percent;

There absolutely no excuse for 58% of the people in Rhode Island to support Obama.

Oh wait.

Everyone in DC is on the “Bank of Washington” payroll.

So true. Which is exactly why:

1) Obama and the Dems want big government, and big government payrolls. It keeps the sheep on the ranch where their votes can be controlled.

And 2) Why they want everyone else on welfare and entitlement programs...it keeps the other sheep dependent on the government sheep herders.

That's their philosophy short and simple

Like I said - he doesn’t want or need our support. Good luck Romney.

Mitt does not have Reagan’s ability to speak past the media.

We will have to come up with anther solution to access the people with common sense.

Unless Obama has a carefully prepared speech for him to read on a teleprompter he sounds like another ghetto gangbanger. As a matter of fact his speaking reminds me of Mike Tyson.

Hillary Clinton beat Obama in all the debates she had with him. No teleprompter, he can’t put a coherent sentence together. But the white-guilt democrats ignored the debates and voted for Obama anyway because he was black. 95% of blacks voted for him because he was black. No other reason. He was most inexperienced presidential nominee in American history and anyone who voted for this lightweight should have their head examined. He has destroyed the country that our Founding Fathers fought and died for.

The main reason Obama refuses to release his college transcripts is because, first it would show he was a foreign exchange student, but most importantly, it would show he barely got by with B’s and C’s and is not the intellectual that the democrats tout him as being. Also a learned, intelligent man, does not carry himself like a gangbanger. He does not walk he struts. Intelligence men, no matter what color, walk, they do not strut like a gangbanger getting ready to play basketball.

Bill Baker (R) has held the 10th Congressional district seat

Um, Baker got dumped about 15 years ago by Ellen Tauscher, who was a money-bags Rat from the East. When Hil-liar-y tapped her to become a full-time bureaucrat in the State Dept., we elected another Rat (Garamendi) who'd been living on the Sacramento teet for as long as I can remember, and lived up in rural Solano county, not even in the district. But he was a (D), so naturally he won over the younger businessman from the southern part of Co Co County who had the temerity to have an "R" after his name.

Worse yet, with redistricting hitting, most of the county is represented once again by the inestimable George Miller, who could probably be elected here even with a 1st degree murder indictment hanging over his head.

Then you are voting to give Barack Obama another 4 years.

Listen, if JC is living in a state that clearly is going one way or the other (TX, NY, CA, places like that), then by all means he can vote for Virgil Goode or whomever. Where a Goode vote could be trouble is in the swing states (FL, OH, VA) where every vote counts, and too many anti-Romney protest votes for another person could push the state to O-Blamer.

Never forget, November 6th is NOT a national election, it is 50 separate state elections. As we learned 12 years ago, a margin of 527 votes wins the electoral votes in a state as much as a margin of 527,000 votes.

Personally, living in CA, where the 2012 election was over in 2009, I'm voting for the Green Party candidate. IIRC, any presidential candidate in CA getting 5% of the vote automatically qualifies for the ballot and state money.

I would just LOVE to see the "Progressives" that are turning this state into so much rubbish have to choose between mainstream moonbat (D) and extreme moonbat (G) in a statewide election. Remember how Ventura and Franken used the schism in the opposition party to win elections in Minnesota!
