Starbucks Appreciation Day

EquallyWed.com has proposed a National Starbucks Appreciation Day in direct response to the overwhelming national support at Chick-fil-A on Mike Huckabee’s Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day. Starbucks is on record for supporting marriage equality, and the LGBTQ community and its wonderful allies are ready to let its dollars speak for them on August 7, 2012 at Starbucks everywhere.

It should be Wendy Appreciation Day because yesterday they posted signs in their places to eat at Chick-Phil-A.

I’m going to gain 25 pounds by the time this is over. Yes, Wendy’s it is!!! Pick a day and I’m there.

I have a choice of Starbucks on one corner, and a small local coffee shop on the other.

All else being equal, I now have a reason to not go to Starbucks.

Oh, great, so the options for my caffeine fix are Starbucks (gay marriage supporters) or Caribou Coffee (majority owned by the Muslim Brotherhood). I suppose Dunkin’ Donuts is in the tank for Elizabeth Warren then?

====================================================

Bite your tongue and patronize Caribou Coffee. I'm no fan of The Religion of Peace, but I'll give credit where it's due: They know how to deal with thieves, pot heads, rapists, and perverts.

They have every right to do whatever they want, or say what they want. I have never had Starbucks coffee; it’s too damned expensive, and McDonalds’ has great coffee.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Didn’t some kook try to form an anti-TEA party and call it the “coffee party” or some such? They can’t even be creative in their flattery!

ok, now I can figure out what day to avoid Starbucks,,not biggie. So funny how all the Christian haters acted like the outpouring toward CFA was no big deal..some were even yawning. Geee,,if the support for CFA wasn’t so effective then why is the gay community trying to copy it? What is they say “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”...

Love it! Plus, I am laughing because on a light traffic day Starbucks takes FOREVER to make a coffee drink. Can you imagine how long people are going to have to wait in line? If I worked at SB, I’d quit right now.

That is funny. Personally, I don’t drink Starbucks anyway. To me, it is the most bitter tasting coffee around. So overrated. I really don’t see the fascination with it.

I don’t think they will get nearly the support that CFA got. Many people went to CFA simply because they didn’t appreciate the attack on Mr. Cathy’s First Amendment rights. They may draw large crowds but not enough to close them down early, as reported with many CFAs.

McDonalds’ has great coffee.

That's right but I'll give the edge on that to these guys:

I hope Whataburger doesn't support causes that I oppose because I sure do like their pancakes. They're based in Corpus Christi, which although is mostly Mexican, does have a large retired military presence in the area.

hahahahahahahaha. I know what you mean, lol. That's funny.

I have only had 1 cup of Staryucks SWILL and I paid $4 bucks for that insult to my taste buds. YUCK. NEVER AGAIN.

The bottom of my coffee pot after sitting all day pluged in tastes better than the Staryuck yuck. Let em have Staryucks, we will take the GOOD STUFF. That is a good tradeoff. Seperations of taste.

Sometimes i feel like a voice in the wilderness. Starbucks has to be among the worst coffees available. Overroasted to cover up the crap they sell at inflated prices. This is also the reason most of their “coffees” are 90 % milk, pumpkin spice, etc etc.

Starbucks is selling a concept ,, not coffee.
