The Sandman does that....so get some rest. Hopefully, nothing dire or exciting will happen tonight so we all can rest easy. Besides it's just a short hop from your latitude to mine for the Sandman....and he's arriving shortly.

Aloha po, Night Owl

Speaking of Intense.

After teaching a lovely student in the Community of Parkland, I proceeded South on the Sawgrass Expressway to go to Chick-Fil-A for Supper. On my right were the Everglades, stretching to the horizon, and unbroken flat sea of grass extending over 100 miles to the Gulf of Mexico.

Black and green boiling clouds suddenly surged overhead, and I saw a funnel cloud forming, dropping down to the sawgrass to the SW of me. I immediately took the next exit and headed east at 45 mph (the speed limit). The radio cracked a warning signal and said that the funnel cloud was on that very street and heading east at ten mph. So I drove steadily east, with the funnel in my read view the whole time.

Got in safe and sound, walked the dog, and watched the reports on TV. Today I will go check the house I am trying to sell and make sure it is ok.

So yeah...I had a busy Wednesday. LOL

I will go the Chick-Fil-A today if i can. It may be less crowded too.
