[Rahm] Emanuel's press secretary clarified that the mayor does not intend to block Chick-fil-A from opening its first free-standing location in Chicago.

"If they meet all the usual requirements, then they can open their restaurant, but he does not believe the CEO's values are reflective of our city," mayoral spokesman Tarrah Cooper said, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

What are "Chicago Values"?

Why would they, or should they, be different than "American Values"?

With leadership like this there is no wonder that Chicago is following Detroit down the Multi-Culti toilet.

Orlando FL: I went for breakfast and then lunch. At lunch, the first two Chic-fil-a restaurants I tried were completely full (at 11:30), so I went to a mall and ate in the food court.

Dan Cathy is a hero in my book for having the courage and conviction to speak out!

Had CFA for breakfast and bought gift cards to give out to folk to talk this up. The line to get there is blocks long, and parking as spilled over into the neighboring Arby’s, Wendy’s and McDonalds parking lots. I am so stoked - as Rush said, this is just a microcosm of things to come in November. The giant is awake and has said “Enough”!!! God bless Chick-Fil-A !!!!

"We want to support their right to an opinion," Clem said. "I do support that opinion. And the right. Even if it was an opinion I disagreed with, I'd be here today. "
