Did she confirm that she wrote an email back to the Lesbian single mother, and that she said everything that the Lesbian single mother is quoting her on?
Sounds like you also know the Lesbian single mother, did you talk to her about it as well?
You have described the B&B owner, but have said nothing about the Lesbian single mother. How would you describe her?
