Michelle Obama's Olympic Escapade

When Michelle Obama jetted off to Britain to instruct the US Olympic Team on what they need to do to come home with the gold, it became apparent that America's first lady had found a way to party hearty, regardless of the pledge to forgo her annual Martha's Vineyard vacation.

Call me cynical, but just because Michelle Obama has well-cut biceps from doing 15-lb curls in the White House gym, trounced Ellen DeGeneres in a push-up contest, and kicked Jimmy Fallon's butt in a potato-sack race, that doesn't exactly qualify her to dole out pointers to seasoned Olympic athletes. But, then again, this is a woman who appointed herself Healthy Eating Czar while pretty much eating anything she damned well pleases.

For example, just prior to the Olympic opening ceremony at a reception held at Buckingham Palace, as "the Queen [of England] gave a welcoming speech" in front of 200 guests and dignitaries from all over the world, healthy eater Michelle enthusiastically wolfed down "Quail's egg canapés."

That perpetual scornful look that resides on Moochie's face comes from a lifetime of hating America and its Caucasian inhabitants. You can't spend your existence believing you've been cheated out of everything because of skin color and not have it settle in your eyes and in the furrow of your brow. I believe Moochie’s spending is so over-the-top because in her simple yet black-power-consumed mind, she believes it's owed to her. I believe she flaunts her grift because she thinks she's showing like minded grifters that she's ‘sticking it to the man’, on their behalf.

Kinda also makes me wonder what would the chain of events be if indeed Obama became dictator.

Would he find a way to keep all the Olympics in America, surely and only for profiteering?

Apparently even right now in London there are rumors of ticket sales to events not meeting expectations, they only want to sell high dollar seats and that the average working class Brit cannot get affordable seats, even while sections of empty seats are shown.

All I know is that the Obamas are terribly bitter people and they will seek a way to exact revenge upon the Olympic committee any way they can. Even if it means emptying large sections of a stadium for security purposes.

The President of the United States should be there. This is the first time in history that the President has not gone to the Olympics. That is the most tragic of all. I guess it must be too patriotic for him.

I agree and offer this observation.

Dignified people, and especially world leaders and their wives, know how to keep their emotions from showing. Lower classes are always anxious to let everyone see how they are feeling. It comes from a sense of needing others to agree with them or to believe they are extremely happy, sad, discontented, angry, etc. with whatever is happening or being done or said at the moment. Making faces or acting overly emotional (clapping too large and hard, laughing too loudly, frowning when displeased, etc.) is not something done by a person of class or an astute leader, business person, successful manager, etc. They learn to develop almost "poker faces" and to control excessive outward displays of emotion.

Michelle comes from a background where it is common practice that everyone is supposed to hear and see how you feel. Restraint, tact, and controlled behavior is not practiced, or even understood. She has been around the Queen of England and hundreds of other dignitaries. You think she would have observed this and learned a lesson. And if anyone dared bother to explain this to her, it is obvious she didn't listen. You just cannot make a silk purse from a sow's ear.

Not true. In fact, the first time any president attended the Olympics was President Reagan in 1984 in Los Angeles, and the first time a president traveled overseas to the Olympics was President Bush to Beijing four years ago.
