You know who the big loser will be in that scenario?
Progressives and their companies. Because, like it or not, they’re the ones who don’t share majority values.

What really bothers me the most about this is that these progressives are criticizing the personal views of a 90 something year old man, who grew up in very different times.
Chick-fil-a happily serves anyone who comes through their door, assuming they are wearing a shirt and shoes, I suppose.
I hate the press more each day. I have canceled my cable because not even Fox is worth watching any longer.
Chic-fil-a is making a mistake. They should be entering the small town market-towns with a population of, say, less than 60 thousand.
They would provide entrance jobs for kids there that would actually be thankful, and a product that would be welcomed as well.
The “Buy-cott” is easily outpacing the 2 percenters and their regressive supporters.

Geting takeout on Wednesday- 3 #1 combos, 3 peach pies and 6 grilled chicken sandwiches- hold the lettuce, tomato and pickles. (All 6 of our dogs are pro-traditional marriage and wanted to support CFA as well.)

ABSOULUTELY 100% correct. The gay agenda is where it is today and has the support it has because they have been aggressive and relentless. If our side became the same, if the playing field were really level, they wouldn’t stand a chance.
OK: So how do we get these businesses to know this?
A related story: I once worked for an author who had a colleague who had convinced the author that he was indispensable to him. It wasn’t true of course, but the author believed it. Until one day, he found out this colleague was a liar and a fake. And when he turned to others, he got 20x the support, and realized he had never needed the guy. Same thing needs to happen here.
The dogs don’t like the crap politicians are ladling out, but like Chick-fil-A.

What really bothers me the most about this is that these progressives were NOT demonizing the personal views of Barack Obama three months ago, when he AGREED with the owner of Chick-fil-a.
I would love to be able to counterprotest these people with a sign that says, "Three months ago, Obama agreed with Chick-fil-a! Where were you then?"

If left manages to SILENCE a business owner that they disagree with, then what’s to keep them from SILENCING candidates as the next step.
I live in Texas, and Ted Cruz is running for US Senate. Assuming that he’s normal, he’s probably against Gay Marriage (I don’t know, just assuming). So, if I, somehow show support for him (either speaking or giving money), do I get descended upon by the left?
Not to mention Ted - for NOT doing what he’s told to do. We are ONE STEP away from that, so we BETTER take a stand at Chick-a-fill and keep them going.

1) Blacks make up 30% of Chicago population and they are NOT pro-homo.
2) There is a large percent of Mexicans in Chicago and they are definitely NOT pro Homo.
3) The Muslims in Chicago loathe Homos.
4) The blue collar types that vote Democrat do not like the Homos.
5) The only pro homos in Chicago are wealthy lefties in ritzy neighborhoods, Academia, the media and the pickle chuggers residing there....and these folks are only the 1% of the population.

I went on Friday. It was the first time I’ve eaten at a CFA, and it will definitely not be the last.
Ditto. We did the same thing today for the same reason. DH specifically mentioned that FOX wasn't worth it any longer. My reasoning was that it was gay-time on every show (that we were paying for) and I didn't want to sponsor the "cause."

The support CFA has received is heart-warming. Where in the hell does a Rahm Emanuel divine his wisdom? It is scary that he believes he is so wise he can dictate to his masses. Very disturbing.
Think I found why the gays went after Cathy. It wasn’t because he spoke out for traditional marriage. Seems Cathy has a foundation that has donated $1,188,380 to the Marriage and Family Foundation. That much money will go a long way toward combating the gay agenda. He also donated to the Family Research Council and the GA Family Council, plus other Christian organizations. The gays go after people who pose a threat to their plans.

Between radio and Free Republic, I get all the news that matters, and I don’t have to waste time watching idiots. I am getting a lot more accomplished, too.
I do have the 99$ Apple TV, and can watch really great programs through that, via Netflix, YouTube, etc. I do not miss a thing, and used to be a confirmed Cable News junkie.
I wonder how long it will be until the rest of the country realizes that they aren’t getting their money’s worth on cable.

Was it Jim Baker and that other TV evangelist scum bag ? Was it the gay priest molestation exposures ? Was it the 60's free love generation and it's incompatibility with religious values. Whether everyone in the country is religious or not, the country was founded upon religious values and probably can't sustain without them. Tocqueville noticed that long ago.
