Per a recent thread, her attorney said she was NOT getting the proceeds from the various charity events held for her or from the webpage that is apparently soliciting donations.

I thought that curious -- the attorney is waiting to see whether the police call this a hoax. Thus, if she took donations, she could be charged with fraud.

The “victim” came lawyered up for the “hate” incident. It will take more skill to nap her than is usual. But the police have made it clear that they have not yet determined that a crime occured.
