There are Obama doubters and haters out there who claim with righteous anger that they are vetting the president, something they say the mainstream media never did. Some of them have said that my new biography unwittingly, they argue, for I am too dumb to understand what my research has unearthed proves that Barack Obamas defining memoir is phony and that his entire life is a fraud. My intent is not to defend Obama or his book; he can take care of himself, and I have my own questions about Dreams From My Father, which I make clear in my book. But when comparing the liberties Obama took with composite characters and compressed chronology which he acknowledged in the introduction to his memoir to the stretches his most virulent detractors have taken in building their various conspiracies, I believe that they are the frauds and fabricators.

Haha! A big seller within the fantasy novel genre!
“I believe that they are the frauds and fabricators.”
That’s rich coming from one of the chief propagandists and agent provocateurs for the commie Buckwheat. I bet Davey cries in his Winnie the Pooh pillow every night that he wasn’t born in 1910 so he could stand on an American street corner and scream Sieg Heil! in 1930.
ping to Maraniss article where he attempts to rehabilitate himself with the left...
nice collection of articles critical of Maraniss at this comment...
“Okay Maraniss, you’re forgiven for your truth filled book. You can come to tonight’s cocktail party - 8:30 sharp!”
Coming in rather late with my post, but I note your comment.

I understand your disgust. You actually have a gem in your hands. If one takes the whole book in context, it is indicative of the rich white liberal and what his multi-cultural obsession leads middle America to. Maraniss damns multi-culture without realizing it.
This is my take and is open to debate. By a graphic picture of Kansas and it's oil boom years and it's massive wartime airplane industry, we know about Anerican know how and hard work. The next graphic picture is of "Luo Land". Kenya no less. The cutting of tribal throats and whatever. Kenya and Middle America do not belong together. Poor Stanley Ann found that out.
Forgive the ramble, but I am going to do an extensive book review to head my profile on FR.
We will "hang" David Maraniss yet (chuckle).
American know how and hard work.
