What's Really Wrong With Jesse Jackson, Jr?!
National Enquirer ^ | July 27, 2012

THE Rev. JESSE JACKSON is devastated over the headline-making mystery illness that’s struck his son, U.S. Congressman Jesse Jr. – and The ENQUIRER has learned the shocking cause of the tragedy.

“At first we thought he was simply exhausted,” said a source close to the family. “But after five weeks of extensive evaluation, doctors diagnosed Jesse Jr. with bipolar disorder.”

The serious mental condition is triggered by chemical imbalances in the brain, which propels sufferers from manic highs to depressive lows.

Some insiders point the finger of blame squarely at a gastric bypass operation the 47-year-old politician underwent in 2004 because it can restrict the intake of nutrients.

Could very well be if the dumbass isn’t taking in proper amounts of vitamins, especially B12 and Vitamin D.

I am very well aquainted with the whole Gastic Bypass stuff.

I once dated someone who had it, what shocked me was how flippant they were about NOT taking any sort of supplemental vitamins / minerals and it wasn’t any wonder they were kinda looney. I dumped via attrition them shortly thereafter.

I know this because I have had a bypass and I ALWAYS take my viatmins religiously.

So it doesn’t surprise me at all someone like JJjr would not listen to their doctor while they tell us all that we should listen to them.

Regardless of the diagnosis or the cause, at this point it should be obvious that he is no longer able to carry out his duties. He should resign - but he won’t. If he won’t resign, he should be removed from office - but he won’t be.

Fishy. Junior was never obese, let alone so morbidly obese that gastric bypass would have been indicated, even to a "bypass mill" outfit.

I realize that we've all criticized Jesse Jackson Jr. before and made fun of his conduct -- he deserves criticism and ridicule for many of the things he has done. But if he really is bipolar and going through a depressive cycle, my prayers are with him. I would not wish that on anyone and it is a family tragedy when they learn that one of their members is bipolar or has some other serious mental issue. It could result in years and years of trying to deal with someone who you know will never be cured and who may actively fight against taking medicine or doing other things to keep themselves stable and out of harms way. The family spends night after night, year after year, worrying about the person, who may or may not be following treatment -- and who may be on the street or in some other dangerous situation.

Ironically, it would be better if this was all a cover up for drugs or alcohol because at least he'd have more of a chance of getting his life back together if it was.

Thanks for your post. We had a neighbor who was bi-polar. Just devastating for his wife and children to live with a guy like that. When he was stable, he was smart, caring, charming, great cook, experienced in business. So when he was lost to his illness, it was a very big loss. He decided his family was the problem, not him, and left. At least they could move on in peace.

Any Doctor recommending gastric surgery for just 50lbs needs to have their license to practice medicine pulled.

It’s a lot of work having a wife, career, and a mistress.

My guess is the little Peruvian hottie wore the boy out.
