A 5 point lead at this point is great and again, Thank God for it.

That 5 point lead will double or triple on election day as the demoralized obamatrons will stay away from the voting booths.

Obama I think honestly will be lucky to get 40% on election day.

Hope you're right. Cause if for any reason Bork Obunga were to be re-elected, it's basically all over but the shouting.

If this keeps up (and I hope it does), I can’t imagine how ugly the Obama media is going to get.

Not BS, but true. Obama is despised.

BUT Mr. ROMNEYCARE WAS CAREFULLY SELECTED
by the DNC, and the MSM.

WHY?

Because:
Romney RESPRESENTS EVERYTHING

1) Americans hate
a) vulture corporatism
b) Wall St (not me, not here, but generally, this year)
c) RomneyCARE
d) anticonservatism in every way imaginable.
e - z) fill in as exercise

and 2) everything that makes the GOP moot.

a) RomneyCARE CREATOR
b) love for TAXES and TARP
c) love for RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE/DEATHPANELS
d) Global Warming Hoax addiction
e) Mexican ineligibility (Romney STILL protects his Obama)
f - z) fill in as exercise

Romney is ahead and the get Obama elected folks on this site are getting desperate. They have their marching orders, to get as many as possible GOP voters not to vote for Romney thus, making Obama a two term president. Obama will destroy America as we know it. Some people want that to happen.

Do you have any better ideas for right now? Romney is running one of the best campaigns I’ve seen in years. Like him personally or not, he is in it to win it — unlike the McCain campaign.

Carter had already lost the election in ‘79.

Anyone could have beaten him without trying. His Iran and military policies made him unelectable.

Romney is such a poor candidate that we have to worry about winning an easy election.

Indeed - Romney sure wasn't my first choice. And we DO indeed have to worry about winning.

Stupid GOPe and FREEPERS who support this fraud and cheerleading for Romney is disgusting.

Whaaaa? You just said we have to worry about winning this election. Wouldn't supporting the nominee help him win it? Or do you want 0bama?

You're an idiot when you talk like this.

I’m as encouraged by Obama’s low number as much as by Romney’s lead. I’ve bought into this conventional wisdom that as an incumbent even if they were tied, Obama can’t be down in the low 40’s and expect a majority to vote for him come election day.

Obama needs to demonize Romney and I’m not so sure that’s easy to do. When I think of challengers who got ridiculed in the past, It was based on their policy gaffes or painting them as radicals. I don’t think tax returns or outsourcing some jobs are sufficient attacks.

I’m thinking of Dukakis, he was such a liberal that his attempts to sound conservative just backfired. Or McGovern was just too left wing and then he proposed giving every American $1,000. Kerry was running against a popular incumbent and had the same liberal tag. That tag works against democrats, it can’t really be an argument against a republican challenger even if you believe Romney is that liberal.

The bottom line Obama is unpopular, it’s a referendum on Obama, and unless he becomes more popular or Romney really screws up, Obama won’t convince a majority that he needs to be reelected.

Good God, to me the idea that Obama needs to be reelected is so preposterous,

First of all. Just because I am going to vote for the jerk doesn't mean I am going to support him or cheerlead for him. Obama is the weakest incumbent we have ever had and this jacka$$ Romney is going to have to fight to even possibly win. Had the guy had any principles at all during his governorship and after, he would be able to go on vacation for months and still win the election. No but because of your ilk, we have to brace for the possibility that he may very well lose. And you call me an idiot? Please wake the heck up. We were dished a dud.

Why don’t you tell us who YOU are voting for?

Do you really think anyone from Media Matters is going to tell you who he/she/it is voting for?
