President Obama has added his voice to the push for limits on Americans' gun use in the wake the massacre last week at a movie theater in Colorado.
Obama, speaking Wednesday evening to the National Urban League, affirmed his belief in Americans' right to own guns, but he singled out assault rifles as better suited for soldiers than civilians.
"I believe the Second Amendment guarantees an individual the right to bear arms," Obama said. "But I also believe that a lot of gun owners would agree that AK-47s belong in the hands of soldiers, not on the streets of our cities."

Obama is obviously in trouble with them, otherwise the last thing he'd do before the election is come down on the side of gun control.
If that comes to pass then we may need to stop talking about the Second Amendment and start exercising it. After all, this great gift that the Founding Fathers gave us is essentially worthless if we have not the courage to use it.

Then he should take away college grants and stipends too. As it appears that Holmes used his stipend money to make his purchases for guns, ammunition, and the booby trap material in his apartment. So when they say...guns kill people, we can say...no, free money kills people.

Chi-Congo should tell us something. The mayor said to the gangs to not shoot kids - meaning it’s okay to off each other. I read where Rush said since the beginning of the year 270 people have been shot in Chi-Congo.
Cannons (at least on ships, not sure about land) were okay for private citizens back then.

I would much rather if people would do the easy and simple thing: get out and VOTE in November, making sure that Obama is not reelected — it must be easier and surer to just cast a vote for Romney, the ONLY reasonable way of ensuring that Obama won’t get another unconstrained 4 years to destroy the country as we know it.
Now just what would the Kenyan muslim usurper know about the 2nd Amendment?

We do limit USE. It is illegal to USE them to murder people.
What Obama wants to limit is POSSESSION.
AK-47 in the hands of soldiers? I remember a time when the only soldiers that had AK-47 were the enemy.
I think he is really that dumb. He probably has never used a firearm in his life.
The Aurora shooter had no history of mental illness or criminal conduct before last week. How would Mr. Obama’s plan have stopped him?
