Mornin’ everybuddy!
Morning everyone!
Thank you, prisoner6, for posting the thread yesterday!
And thanks to every one of my wonderful Q&R snap list for the prayers and kind thoughts. It means more than I can express.
Mr S went into the hospital on Tuesday for his pre-op testing. This morning, he underwent a catherization to determine where the Afib was coming from. The doctor determined that it was coming from one of the ventricles of his heart and froze that area. I am probably not explaining it correctly since I don’t quite understand it all. After the procedure (lasted approx. 5 1/2 hrs) he was monitored for further atrial fibrillation and none was observed. When his parents and I left him this evening, he was out of the anesthesia, though still groggy, and able to eat a bit. The doc was in again and was very pleased with how everything went. The male nurse was also very optimistic and said everything looked really good. I can’t tell you how happy and relieved I am! I’ll be going down to Pittsburgh tomorrow and hopefully he’ll be coming home Friday.
Thanks again to all of you!

Hi AM!
Great News!
I have been listening to them on I Heart radio in the mornings here in Jenison MI and find their morning show more entertaining than our local crew on WOOD 1300.
PRAISE GOD! THANK YOU FOR PRAYERS ANSWERED!
So good to hear of the update! You ...and Mr s...must be VERY tired!
Keep us updated, meanwhile CONTINUED PRAYERS!
What is your read on how things are going for BO in MI? Are you in lower MI? Lots of bug this time of year?
If you are where I think you are do you know anything about the USS Badger ferry that runs between....ummm...across Lake Michigan to Wisconsin? It is supposed to be shut down IIRC because it dumps ash into the lake during it’s run. It’s something I always wanted to travel on.
WONDERFUL to know there is someone in MI listening to Q&R!
Oh Greg! Where did you hear that about Sarah? I am still upset about the possibility of her NOT speaking!
If I can figure out how to do it I am going to FRmail you some bumper stickers a friend of mine in Ohio emailed me. It’s in a powerpoint thing though and I don’t know how to do that...sigh!
Haven’t seen you on the thread, was getting worried!
Green skills?????
Great News!!! So glad for the good result and prognosis!!! Tell Mr. S that your “imaginary FRiends” (what my kids have called us when they see me frantically typing on my phone) are praying and thinking of you both:)
Any else get just hammered w/thunder and vivid nonstop (for about 20 minutes) lightning? We did here, and now I find out traffic is a mess (here) as TPike is closed (?) from Monroeville to Allegheny Valley...but no websites giving specs just “bad accident.”. My little Weatherbug was going crazy during the first storm—and it’s chirping we are in line for severe weather later today. Fun times!
Hi there!!! Or actually (in Pittsburgh Yinzer speak) “good morning n’@!”
Welcome to the thread :)
Overturned tractor trailer between Monroeville & Allegheny Valley. Pike closed. Large fuel spill...will be shut down for awhile.
We were hit pretty hard. The lightning radar was going off no stop. Lasted about an hour total.
That story Jim did on voter fraud...it was on fox yesterday. No mention of party! I had to go look up the names.
Woohoo! Fantastic news! Hey, bet he’ll be tired today like he ran a marathon. An old acquaintance went through something that sounds very similar for tachachadia, took care of the problem. Thanks to God above! :o)
So glad everything went well for Mr. S. Praying for a very speedy recovery.
Morning everyone! I had to hit the hay as soon as I posted the thread last night. Didn’t get much sleep at the hotel and had to be at the hospital early if I wanted to catch DH before they took him up for his procedure!
I’m glad my brother-in-law and his wife and daughter left yesterday around 4:00. They live in Philly area and left straight from the hospital to go home via the turnpike. Caught the Harmar exit. Prayers for all involved in that accident. Happen this morning?
Welcome to Michigan Bowhunter! I hope you can join us in the mornings! We’re a small but friendly group. Sometimes we post, sometimes not. We all have to work to support the obama voters so we come and go as we get ready for work or get home from work (as in prisoner6’s case!)
PaMom, we got some boomers last night. I woke up once, barely, and there was some pretty good lightening going on.
OK, got to get ready for the hour and a half drive to Pittsburgh. I hope I can bring him home today, but probably not. I may post from my tablet later!
Sneaks
Thanks RWI! I’m just plain exhausted. Dang, my suitcase smells like ciggy smoke! And it was supposed to be a non-smoking room! Got to get the Febreeze out!
Safe travels to and from the Burgh Sneaks! Watch the weather...supposed to get some nasty stuff later :(
The TPike accident occurred around 5 am today...so your family members were safely home by that time.
Some of the callers today—like the “hog call” guy—oh my. Funny. I gotta fly too...gotta make my tax contribution to the “trough.”
Wonderful news on Mr s!
The lightning and thunder here was INTENSE! Mrs p6 slept through it and had no idea what I was talking about!
Rose hasn’t been on for awhile has she? Hope she’s ok but Jim does seem to cover more ground when she isn’t on.
I must have slept through the thunder, too. I hear we’re getting another big dose this afternoon.
I heard that Rose was on Hannity’s TV show the other night (I missed it), so she must be busy jet-setting.
Woohoo! He’s home. Called this morning as I was getting ready to go down to Pittsburgh. When I got there around noon he was all dressed and ready to go! Doc says he hasn’t seen any indication of atrialfibrillation at all! Looks like this part of the saga can be put behind us. Now his heart might be able to heal from the congestive heart failure!
And welcome to freeangel, who has just joined our ‘gumband snap’ list! Glad to have ya on board n’at!
God is good!
Wow! That’s incredible!
That’s all there is to it - PRAYER WORKS! Thank You, Lord!
So happy for you both! :o)
Yes HE is good and yes prayer does help! lol! I’m happy beyond belief!
Now I can concentrate on helping get Obama OUT of OUR WHITE HOUSE!!!
Also, I’m going to be a distribution sub-center for signs, bumper stickers and other campaign paraphenalia for Tom Smith. Tom is challenging Bob Casey in the Senate race. Pennsylvania has the distinction of having one of the top 20 most liberal senators - Bob Casey - and one of the top 20 most conservative - Pat Toomey. We want two conservatives, of course. We finally have a Republican governor. We want Pa. ALL RED this time!
Excellent news!!! So happy for both of you!!! Praise G-d!!!
I hope you sleep in tomorrow morning—you have had a stressful week.
Thanks! Yep, I’ll be sleeping in. Probably post tomorrow’s Q&R thread tonight before I go to bed! LOL!
