Virginia Politics ^

With a little help from his friends, former congressman Virgil Goode has taken a key step toward getting his name on November’s presidential ballot in Virginia, submitting more than 14,000 signatures to the State Board of Elections....

..Goode was a Democrat for much of his career, then became an Independent and finally a Republican for his last six years on Capitol Hill. Now Goode is getting assistance from yet another party, the Independent Greens, whose members have collected thousands of signatures for him....

...“Virgil supports rail, and that’s our big issue and he’s with us on that,” said Carey Campbell, a member of the Independent Greens executive committee. “We’ve had for many years a good relationship with the Constitution Party folks.”...

The Greenies are helping Goode

The Independent Green Party sounds like the love child of Dennis Kucinich and Willie Green. http://www.votejoinrun.us/

I’m going to vote for him because Mitt is a lying manipulative bottom feeding piece of trash.

I see no value in voting for someone who has less than a snowball’s chance.

And Goode was a democrat, then an independant, THEN a republican, and now the greenies are helping him...

Yeah, sounds like a really trust-worthy guy. Real consistent.

As though former Democrat, change parties faster than you can shake an etch-a-sketch Goode isn't. While Mitt was a liberal Republican governor, Goode was a Liberal Democrat congressman.

A vote for Virgil is as good as a vote for Ubama.

Obama can afford to finance Ross Perot’s campaign in Virginia.

At least Romney has a chance of winning. Goode is just spoiling for the bamster.

I really dislike Romney, but we can't survive 4 more years of obama. Romney isn't Reagan, he's breathing space.

The same no value in voting (R) on the top line in New York State.

Why vote for any liberal? Why not write in Jeff Sessions or Jim DeMint?

Virginia proved in the primary season that it had a signature collection scam that caused Perry, Gingrich and Santorum take it to court claiming it is unconstitutional. They lost.

They also were unable to get on Virginia’s ballot.

Goode, a Virginian himself, creatively joined with others to get enough signatures.

Now ask yourself this: If Perry, Gingrich, and Santorum had all carried petitions for each other and had had each signer sign all 3, then would they have qualified for the ballot?

Yep.

I’m actually very encouraged by Goode’s creativity.

I’m surprised Paul and Romney were the only ones on the ballot now that I see what a little cooperating with people in the same situation could have accomplished.

Whupped ‘em again, din’t we Josey!

You deserve 4 more years of Obama.

I hope your karma shows up elsewhere, so America can survive.

But...but...but, Romney is the real enemy of America!

After all the destruction Obama has brought on our nation, we still have fools that are going to help him win a second term. This notion that Obama and Romney are the same is just plain stupid.

Virgil Goode is a selfish POS!
