This press conference will cover our recent mailer to the entire community that exposes Stericycle's complicity in the American holocaust. > > >

The fact that a company outsider has found documentary proof that Stericycle did engage in fetus trafficking in 2003 hardly serves as proof that Stericycle did not engage in fetus trafficking in 1999, 2000, 2001, or 2002. When Romney, Bain or Stericycle wish to claim that no fetus trafficking took place during those years, they will make that claim. Until then, I am not going to just assume the accuracy of your unsubstantiated claim that Stericycle waited until Romney and Bain left before there was any fetus trafficking.

I know that Romney and Bain operated Stericycle and I know that Stericycle engages in fetus trafficking. Any attempt to extricate Romney and Bain from that activity should be based upon evidence that such activity did not take place when Romney and Bain operated the company. If such evidence exists, Romney, Bain and Stericycle will provide that evidence. So long as they remain silent on the issue, I will continue to assume that they were involved in fetus trafficking.

I also know that there's going to be a press conference tomorrow.

What an Alinsky-ish mom-response to a question asked of you. You’re beneath contempt.

That should read “non-response.”

This thread is about the scheduling of an anti-abortion press conference for tomorrow at Stericycle's "plant."

In post 5, you wrote:

FR went through this discussion last week. You were part of it. Expecting a different outcome?

The fact is, Clara Lou, neither you nor I remember any discussion of this anti-abortion press conference last week because neither you nor I had any such discussion, at least not with one another. If I am somehow mistaken, provide me with a link to the conversation that you claim to remember.

smoothsailing:

Let us assume that each and every factual allegation you make is Gospel truth and that neither Mitt Romney nor Bain Capital had anything whatsoever to do with Stericycle by the time (2007) you cite as the beginning of Stericycle's profiting from its collaboration with the abortion mills. None of that would surprise me if true. Bain Capital's involvement with Stericycle was apparently quite temporary and long gone by the time in question.

I had a law partner who was a very longtime friend (since we were three years old). He was willing to sue the Catholic Church to which we both belong in a personal injury matter in which a parochial school student was injured slipping on ice. I was not willing to participate in that suit because of Canon Law of the Church. We ceased being partners nearly thirty years ago. We are still good friends. I do not know whether he is accepting cases since then that I would find morally objectionable. I am not responsible for his later acts. He is not responsible for mine. That analogy holds to show Romney's and Bain's innocence as to Stericycle.

That having been said, do you dare deny that (specifying your reasons):

1. Romney is two-faced on the abortion issue and has ALWAYS given his open support to free and easy abortion funded by taxpayers like his mommy Lenore (pre-Roe vs. Wade) before him???

2. That, in 2006, two years after he CLAIMED to have become "pro-life," he included $50 abortions in his infamous Romneycare and put Planned Barrenhood on its board of directors????

3. That Mittler cannot be trusted any further on the abortion issue to be "pro-life" than the late Mother Teresa could throw the Taj Mahal with one hand???

4. That the direct and quite provable case against Romney and the GOP-e on the abortion issue is not Stericycle and profits from disposing of murdered babies but their ever-present cheerleading for abortion and particularly for the abortion of poor and minority babies to save tax money and pursue eugenics as a quiet cause????

Those are the reasons why pro-lifers (the actual and knowledgeable sort) will refuse Romney their votes and they will deny Obozo their votes as well.

What will Romney DO to convince pro-lifers to vote for him other than to continue to shamelessly lie on the subject of the American Holocaust??? If nothing, you KNOW what the result will be. I know that the pro-lifers I know won't vote for either major party baby killer. If your taxes go up or Muffy's trust fund is hurt, tooooo bad! The GOP will come to heel on this issue or be destroyed.

Don’t worry, I despise Mitt just as much as you. Yes, Mitt is a damn hypocrit when it comes to his prolife “conversion” which is as wide as the Nile and as deep as an oil slick.

On the other hand, if I ever ran for public office, someone could question my prolife credentials based on my one time contract with Stericycle. And to my horror I have learned I was paying for their services while they were servicing big abortion.

If you want to discuss Romney on Abortion start a thread about Romney on abortion. This thread is about a company that disposes of human remains and has nothing to do with Romney.

You shouldn't be so hard on yourself.

Bain and Romney didn't just contract with Stericycle. They owned and operated the company. I want to think that they knew what their company was doing.

Initially, this thread was about Stericycle and abortion. It was smoothsailing in post 5 who changed the topic to Romney and Bain and their relationship to Stericycle. So, at least since post 5, the discussion has broadened to include Romney and Bain.

And it’s been shown that Romney’s connection with this company was fleeting and a decade ago. Move on.

There is one reason and only one reason that Stericycle is in the news - and that is to connect them to Romney. It is a shame to see the scum tactics of the left being used by the right.

The only documentation I can find regarding Stericycle's contracting with abortion providers goes back to 2003. See http://www.stopstericycle.com/evidence/documentation/ :

Documentation

The following are public documents from the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office that include information about Stericycle’s service to notorious abortionist Kermit Gosnell:

Grand Jury Presentment (See bottom of page 32 and top of 33)

Grand Jury Report (See page 47)

The following are two investigative reports from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), in which Stericycle was found to be illegally dumping aborted babies into a municipal landfill in Austin, Texas.

TCEQ Report June 2011

TCEQ Report July 2011

The following documents affirm that Stericycle picks up “path” or pathological waste (human body parts) from abortion mills. All documentation was obtained persuant to the Freedom of Information Act.

Planned Parenthood Milwaukee 2009

Planned Parenthood Madison 2009

Planned Parenthood Appleton 2009

OBYGN Associates WI 2009

OBGYN Associates WI 2008

Greenville Women’s Clinic 2007

Choice Medical Group CA 2008

Greenville Womens Clinic 2003

Given Stericycle's short corporate history,

History

1-866-783-7422

In 1993, we began to acquire other service providers - a successful strategy we still use today. We became a publicly traded company in 1996, and emerged as North America's largest provider of medical waste services in 2000.

In 1999, we began offering safety and compliance training services with the launch of the Stericycle Steri-Safe OSHA Compliance program. Today over 139,000 healthcare customers rely on us to help keep their staff safe and their office compliant with this service.

We grew our hospital offerings in 2003 when we acquired Bio Systems Sharps Management service. Since then, we have expanded Stericycle Bio Systems nationally. Today it has become the leader in re-usable sharps container management service.

Also in 2003, we entered the reverse pharmaceutical industry via acquisition. Since then, we've grown into a leading provider of pharmaceutical, medical device, durable goods and consumer goods recall, trade returns and retrieval services. Our systems even handled the single largest prescription drug recall event in U. S. history.

Internationally, we've been providing medical waste disposal service since 1998. Today, Stericycle operates in the U.S., United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Romania, Spain, and Portugal, and we continue to pursue opportunities to enter new countries and offer new services.

For Stericycle, medical waste was just the beginning. We're constantly seeking to develop new services that expand our ability to protect people and reduce risk.

its hard to say when they first contracted with abortion providers, but so far the only data I can find indicates 2003, which is after Romney left Bain.

Until someone can PROVE Stericycle was involved in the abortion industry prior to 2003, this is nothing more than desperation on the part of the Democrats.

Stericycle apparently began contracting with abortion clinics in 2007.

According to the documentation in my last post, Stericycle was already contracting with abortion providers in 2003.

The libtards can’t run on their records that’s for sure. The Obama team is in full panic mode.

its hard to say when they first contracted with abortion providers,

Well, it certainly shouldn't be hard for Stericycle to say when they first contracted with abortion providers. And, it certainly wouldn't be hard for Romney or Bain (or both) to say that Stericycle hadn't yet contracted with abortion providers when they ran the company. But, they're not doing that.

By the way, Romney/Bain have claimed that Romney left Bain in early 1999, but in late 1999, Romney signed the 13g filing relating to Stericycle.

It has been reported that Romney is clinging to his story that he left Bain in early 1999 to avoid responsibility for "outsourcing." But, there isn't anything wrong with "outsourcing" and outsourcing is often necessary to save a company. I think its far more likely that Romney is claiming to have left Bain in early 1999 in an effort to avoid responsibility for Bain's involvement with Stericycle. For several years after 1999, he remained the president, CEO and sole shareholder of the Bain entity. And, as indicated above, he signed the Stericycle documents after he claims to have left.

But, again, this is really just a thread about the press conference being held tomorrow. I wish Romney would hold a press conference tomorrow and clear up this cloud over his head relating to Stericycle.

I don't think that your candidate has authorized you to say that for him.

Let your candidate speak for himself. If Romney says that Stericycle waited until he and Bain left the company before it began trafficking in fetuses, I'll probably take his word for it.

But, so far at least, your candidate has chosen not to speak on the issue.

Bain Attacks Fail to Shake Up Presidential Race

Friday, July 20, 2012

Yet while raising negative perceptions of Romney’s record in business, the Bain attacks have failed to bring about any change in the overall race for the White House.

The president’s attacks on Romney’s time at Bain Capital have succeeded in raising some doubts about the challenger, but by highlighting his role as a venture capitalist, the attacks also have reinforced the belief that Romney sees economic growth as his top priority. There is nothing better for the challenger than a race where he is seen as the candidate of economic growth.

Monday, July 23, 2012

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Mitt Romney attracting 46% of the vote, while President Obama earns support from 43%. Six percent (6%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) more are undecided.

There are plenty of things to not like about Romney but Bain isn’t one of them. Better to let the Kenyan keep chasing his tail.
