“a local cop of color” who stated that the last thing he wanted was “two out of control shooters in the theater” since evidently only authorized policemen could have stopped the mele. Never underestimate what the left will allow to be said on their way over valued pathetic shows.

Ed Perlmutter (D-Col) is calling for another “assault weapon” ban on Deface the Nation. First Bloomturd, now Perlmutter.

And now, Bob Schieffer is calling for more gun grabbing in commentary. 3 anti-gun rants in a row.

Let us call for an immediate national boycott of all theaters!

I realize this would have an adverse effect on the Marxist dirtbags in Hollywood, but....oh well.

Their "Chickens...are coming home....to ROOST!"

In a statement, President Obama commemorated the Muslim holiday of Ramadan — calling it a time to “cherish family, friends, and neighbors, and to help those in need.”

“On behalf of the American people, Michelle and I extend our warmest wishes to Muslim Americans and Muslims around the world at the start of Ramadan,” Obama said.

Obama also took the opportunity to tie in the struggles of people across the Muslim world engaged in ongoing fighting related to the Arab spring uprisings that began in 2011.

“This year, Ramadan holds special meaning for those citizens in the Middle East and North Africa who are courageously achieving democracy and self-determination and for those who are still struggling to achieve their universal rights. The United States continues to stand with those who seek the chance to decide their own destiny, to live free from fear and violence, and to practice their faith freely. Here in the United States, Ramadan reminds us that Islam is part of the fabric of our Nation, and that — from public service to business, from healthcare and science to the arts — Muslim Americans help strengthen our country and enrich our lives,” Obama said.

“Even as Ramadan holds profound meaning for the world’s 1.5 billion Muslims, it is also a reminder to people of all faiths of our common humanity and the commitment to justice, equality, and compassion shared by all great faiths. In that spirit, I wish Muslims across America and around the world a blessed month, and I look forward to again hosting an iftar dinner here at the White House. Ramadan Kareem,” Obama said.

Okay, talking point for Republicans/Romney campaign below....thank me very much.

“I understand when senseless things like this happen it causes us to want an immediate way to end it, to somehow keep it from every happening again.

I would point out that the Colorado shooter had rigged his house with explosives with what is believed to be an intent to kill police who might respond to the loud music or after the event. Those explosives, had they gone off as intended, would have killed many in that apartment complex, police personnel, innocent passers-by. We can’t eliminate explosives to keep such a thing from happening again.

I would point out that in countries with strict gun control laws these sorts of things still happen. The Norwegian massacre, just last year, resulted in the death of (insert statistics here). Gun control laws did not stop that senseless act.

We have a second ammendment right to own guns in this country and I believe in our consitution. IF there is a move to take away that constitutional right, let it happen per our country’s legal method of ammending the constituion, not by laws so strict and stifling that the loss of our right to carry is de facto denied us.

The American people have survived so much in our short history and we will survive these senseless acts without denying our own selves defense against them.

I have faith in the American people.”

Insert vulgar comment about legs and air here.

(Just back from church)

You oughta know, Mr AFRTS!

I think every other AFN announcement was about situational awareness! Do you still show the cowboy singing “Don’t let it in” to the tune of “Don’t Fence Me In”?

AND...may I point who THREE of those who condemned those who query about the need for our Secretary of State to be gallavanting with one whose parents belong to an organization deemed to be a terrorist sanctuary.

They happen to be Republicans....one of which was our former presidential candidate.

-John McCain
-Graham

oh my goodness....get this...JOHN BOEHNER...speaker of the house.

Yup, jumped right in and condemned who? FELLOW REPUBLICANS...representatives of the people who asked for a few answers to be given. Sensible answers to sensible questions or you might believe the media if you want.

Now of course the Democrats have to jump up and down and do nanny nanny boo boos because this how they defend themselves. Make those who dare to question to be the object of ridicule...it’s how they do...it’s okay. The dummies are those who fall for it.

But when OUR guys jump right in?

How can anybody defend that? If nothing else, couldn’t McCain, Graham and Boehner just kept quiet?

No but I do remember seeing that one back in the day.

They use programs like iWatch and See Something Say Something.

excellant summary of the key points.

watching cokie roberts..Joe klein etc in their hysteria, almost foaming at the mouth screeching about “CONTROL” IS the bizzare response to your cogent arguments...as they did with Jen Robin who tried to present these facts.

I’m now wondering if James Holmes—the Colorado killer is related at all to the “occupy movement”? this is a possibility especially since the DBM using Brian Ross and Stephy Stepinaopouls immediately tried to link him to the Tea Party. there is a lot of speculation below but it could make sense.Really of interest.

Now saying something in defense of the soon-to-be Republican presidential nominee... Watch out for kitties!

The FBI estimates that there are over 200 million privately-owned firearms in the US. 2nd amendment rights aside, the idea that we can somehow put the genie back in the bottle is fantasy. The bad guys will always have access to guns. Citizens need a way to protect themselves and would be the only ones affected by any further restrictions on the 2nd amendment.

“THREE of those who condemned those who query about the need for our Secretary of State to be gallavanting with one whose parents belong to an organization deemed to be a terrorist sanctuary.”

Yeah I heard that on the Levin podcast yesterday and about fell over.

Those two are poster boys not only for term limits but Exhibit A of why we need to get more conservative Republicans in office.

But it’s not just them...Republican Establishment media types are piling on too.

Instead of asking why a WH staffer had over 200 meetings with CAIR they are attacking the people trying to get to the bottom of possible criminal activity.

Boggles the mind.

The Dems never waste an opportunity (crisis) even it means using a tragedy to stampede people into going their way.

Exactly.

Obummer gets to take center stage again as the Sympathizer-In Chief, aka Gabby Giffords Memorial Redux. Lots of subject changing material and smoke and mirrors can be expected for a long time here. In the end, this will be worse than the OJ Trial obscenity. This Administration and their media suckups will assure it is so.

Our imploding economy? Silence...

Our looming financial disaster? Silence...

Sheriff Arpaio's shocking revelations on one of the greatest frauds in American history? Silence...

Corruption and treachery at the highest levels in our government? Silence...

Huma, Hillary and the subversion of American foreign policy? Silence...

ObamaCare outrage? Silence...

Budget disaster and military sequestion? Silence...

Fast & Furious? Silence...

EPA outrages and the destruction of American business? Silence...

Administration support for the Muslim Brotherhood and radical Islam? Silence...

Amnesty and wide open borders? Silence...

Drug cartels and Latin gangs taking over swaths f this country?Silence...

Cratering local and state finances? Silence...

The UN Small Arms Treaty? Silence...

The list of other appalling American horrors goes on and on while the Batman shooting and it's aftermath sucks up all the oxygen. So what do we get and can expect to get for a long time to come while the media and Liberals pleasure themselves with this latest convenient shiny thing?

Silence...

If you remember, the same sort of things happened constantly throughout those awful Bill Clinton years. Nothing getting traction against Clinton ever got real traction, despite the ongoing outrages he perpetrated because some "tragedy" always conveniently popped up to wipe it out of the news and save his miserable hide. Then the story died while the media chased the more attractive bauble.

Do I detect the same pattern here?

They are trying...hell most of Europe is trying...but it’s closing the barn door AFTER the horses have escaped.

Islam has already spread its cancerous tentacles over a large part of the continent here.

To the point that IRRC in England (one of our Brit FReepers help me here) there are Sharia only zones now where if you’re not muslim you can’t enter...to include law enforcement and EMS. Sharia law rules in those neighborhoods.

Canada has Sharia Law courts for muslims and our own President has a Sharia banking advisor.

It’s gonna take more will power than any EU country has right now to stem the tide IMHO.

America SHOULD be taking heed of what’s happening here...but they aren’t.

"Gun control supporters are so sanctimonious."

True, though did you see Byah on FNS this morning? I don't know that I have ever seen anyone more sanctimonious than he, and he was (sort of) anti-gun control.
