I have noticed this tendency—I don’t know if it’s recent or has happened from time immemorial—for people to attempt to pin any horrific or violent act on their political enemies.

Or they want to use it to make a political point. “It proves we need gun control!” for example.

Sometimes people have to realize that unfortunately there is just plain evil in the world, and it doesn’t always relate to an ideology or a race or a religion, etc.

It may end up that indeed some of that may be in play here; we just don’t know yet.

A San Diego woman who identified herself as James Holmes’ mother told ABC News she had awoken unaware of the shooting and had not yet been contacted by authorities. She immediately expressed concern that her son may have been involved.

“You have the right person,” she said, apparently speaking on gut instinct. “I need to call the police... I need to fly out to Colorado.”

She also says he was OWS and not happy with this movie, the Dark Night. The Batman movie portrays the OWS crowd in a negative vein. the new Batman movie featured the villain as an Occupy Wall Street type. James Holmes was an Occupier.

It actually happened late Wednesday night. Apparently a gunman went into a bar, paused for a little and then opened fire. I confess I haven’t paid the T-town shooting much attention. Perp has been caught (or killed, I’m not sure).
