The Usual Suspects: ABC's Ross, Stephanolpoulos Point to Tea Party in Dark Knight Shooting
Breitbart ^ | 7/20/2012 | Joel B. Pollak

On Good Morning America, ABC News' Brian Ross and George Stephanolpoulos suggested that the Tea Party might be connected to the mass shootings early this morning in an Aurora, CO theater during a screening of the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. The mainstream media attempted to blame the Tea Party for the Tuscon shootings in January 2011, shortly after Republicans swept the midterm elections. Now, in the critical 2012 elections, the mainstream media seems poised to do the same--and ABC News has led the way.

Here is the exchange between reporter Brian Ross and host George Stephanopoulos about apparent suspect James Holmes:

“Media Morons”, proving again why they earned the title.

To be fair, it seems that it was Ross, not George, who was responsible for the slimy accusation.

Hope Tea Party Holmes has a good lawyer. He is due a big settlement from ABC News.

Why figure him for being insane when you can plug him into your political narrative? (Not you of course SE but reporters and others who have to leap to conclusions.)

Isn’t it a shame?

People are dead and folks are there to rub their shirts in the blood and wave it around.

The glee on both sides to claim the other as being the force behind this is simply gross. Almost like they are happy at the chance to score political points.

Strange how the timing of this tragedy is so close to the UN firearms treaty signing date that is designed to confiscate US citizen's firearms.

I am wondering whether the elder James Homes would have a case of malice to sue those bastards at ABC, inferring that someone who is a Tea Party member is a violent extremist?

Might be worth a shot...

Maybe Holmes enjoys drinking tea at a party, therefore, according to the drug fueled logic, he is a teaparty member.
There isnt enough shrinks in the world to fix the mental illness the members of the left have. And you cant give them a lobotomy because they haven't any brain to spare.

Then where’d he get his PTSD?

This is frustrating- we've got too many threads on this! On another thread(s) it looks as though the post from youtube may have been a troll or hoax...I posted it because it seemed intriguing- but as we know- in the early hours there are loads of rumors and lots of speculation. We'll see.

We’re still attempting to use the ballot box of liberty.
We haven’t concluded that that box is closed yet.

I think Roberts just closed the Jury Box of liberty.
The soap box hasn’t been very effective.
The moving box has been rendered moot by all the federal encroachment on the 10th amendment.

The whole point here, I’m confident, was to invent the Tea Party association regardless of its validity. For they hope the effect might be nearly as desirable as if it were true. We know this will be overtly politicized for personal gain somehow by gun-grabbing political operatives at all levels. They will coordinate their messages with the MM soon enuff, just give them time.

This is the initial reaction of the MSM to these events time after time.

And time after time the charges are proven to be way off base.

Which tells me that these leftists are just hate fueled progressive ideologues who do not give a rats ass for the truth.

I am so furious about this. I’ve sloughed it off before, it is what it is kind of thing, but no more. Who do I call/email to complain? I will do it everyday and harass the hell out of them if I have to, but this really is the last straw.

I’ve enjoyed reporting by Brian Ross in the past. Today it’s clear he’s a leftist prick and unreliable.

The MSM’s rush to judgment is pathetic and despicable. But in this particular situation, how is Ross and Sniffanolpoulos any different then many of us? I know my first thought was that the perp was either Amish or an OWS activist even though I had absolutely no evidence whatsoever to support my theory. And even after LEO released the perps name, many of my fellow Freepers continued to insinuate that he’s Amish because LEO did not release his middle name.

Before you flame me, yes, I realize that unlike Ross and Sniffanolpoulos, we at FR are not broadcasting to an national audience with the intent to influence (as opposed to simply reporting facts) the weak and stupid and yes, I recognize that statistically, the chances of this being an Amish or OWS attack are far greater than the likelihood of this being a Tea Party attack, but still, the fact is that many of us — me included — assumed this was terrorist attack by the usual suspects before we even heard any of the details.

Funny,

I found a Brian Ross who is a member of the Kiss Army:

http://www.facebook.com/#!/brian.ross.754

Funny what a Google search on a very common name will turn up.

Way to go - very wel cources investigative journalism.

Liberal elites are so predictable in their evil.

Can you imagine the outcry if every time there was a mass murder ‘the press’ would blame a black person? Or a gay person? Liberal hate and ignorance - - bottomless...
