John McCain has now denounced Michelle Bachmann for requesting that the State, Homeland Security, Defense and Justice Departments, investigate potential “policies and activities that appear to be the result of influence operations conducted by individuals and organizations associated with the Muslim Brotherhood.”

Bachmann had sent a 16-page letter to Keith Ellison, the only Muslim congressman, outlining her concerns:
“The concerns about the foreign influence of immediate family members is such a concern to the U.S. Government that it includes these factors as potentially disqualifying conditions for obtaining a security clearance, which undoubtedly Ms. Abedin has had to obtain to function in her position. For us to raise issues about a highly-based U.S. Government official with known immediate family connections to foreign extremist organizations is not a question of singling out Ms. Abedin. In fact, these questions are raised by the U.S. Government of anyone seeking a security clearance.”
This is absolutely correct. Abedin’s father, Syed Z. Abedin, founded the Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs, an organization supported by the Muslim World League, a Brotherhood organization. Her mother, Saleha Mahmoud Abedin, is a member of the Muslim Sisterhood.
No matter. McCain was in fine fettle.

McCain is a dumb-@ss. He’s potentially ceding to the enemy (Iran) important intelligence that could lead Iran into doing something rash — like closing the Strait. We all know how the Democrats project weakness to begin with. If Huma were to pass along the details of the internal debate it would simply re-inforce Iran in that strategic conclusion.
Then a shooting-war is the only way to retrieve the situation. And as you point-out, Sen. McCain has never seen a conflict he didn’t think could be solved with military might. I’d throw Lindsay Graham into that mix, since he acts like the Junior Senator from Arizona most of the time.

I denounce John (insane) McCain, urge him to shut up and pray that he goes home. It is beyond belief that he was the GOP candidate for President at one point.
I admire his military service but he was obviously bent duing his captivity.
Say what you want about John McCain’s politics - and I do not agree with his views a lot of the time. BUT - he put it on the line for this country and we should always remember that and give him credit for that. He was there, he fought the war and he spent a lot of time in a hideous situation at the Hanoi Hilton.
After the way he treated the families of Vietnam POW/MIA’s when he chaired the hearings back in the 90’s, you will not think he is a hero. He pretty much gave cover for the No Vietnamese and the Viet Cong.

Unfortunately if you look around FR you’ll find few conservatives willing to do what really needs to be done which is pointing out GOP complicity and involvement.
The need to do the right thing is crushed under the weight of protecting the party.
Unfortunately, this is true to an extent. There is a little too much “party protecting” and not “Conservative protecting”.....and its everywhere in the conservative sphere

Michelle Bachmann was 100% correct in calling out Hillary and her Muzzy Bro’hood tied assistant. It was treasonous for those in her own party to attack her. We need some Real Conservatives to step out and call out those RINOs supporting MB
I think it was Frank Gaffney who was on Beck’s show on FOX and actually accused FOX of being in the pocket of the muslim brotherhood and silencing those who speak out. I don’t think he’s been back.

McCain is ultimately trying to protect Hilary and the state department. Their actions and agenda are ushering in sharia in libya and Egypt.
