Similarly, we have a president with a Muslim father and stepfather, who attended a madrassa, and now claims to be a Christian. Yet, I've never heard of any anger, let alone fatwas issued against him, from the Imams.
The more sanctimonious McCain gets, the greater his error. He has seized upon another 15 minutes of media adulation, while being too vacuous to understand how serious the situation is, perhaps not with Huma, but then again, maybe so. The Muslim Brotherhood is laughing at us and our ignorant politicians like McCain. What is happening now is on a par with how foolish we would have been to allow Nazis to saturate our highest levels of government and intelligence during WWII. It would have been unthinkable for our leaders then, but bozos like McCain don’t see the problem.

There is no logical reason for the US to be putting pressure on Assad in Syria right now. The Russians and Chinese do not understand what the US is doing and continue to veto UN sanctioned action against Assad.
I thought the Muslim Brotherhood was now the good guys - after all we practically gave them the keys to Egypt? So why the outrage to learn that Humus has ties to a group of “freedom fighters”, as we now see them?
