Now there’s an interesting photograph! FAR more interesting than the ‘black hand’ which was discussed YEARS ago on one of the long threads iirc...and it was decided then it wasn’t a hand at all, the boy is holding a small leather bag in the crook of his elbow.

That has to be photoshopped. I’ve never seen a photo of Obama with his uncle Omar. The head looks too large. It’s on an airplane, too. I think some clown put Omar’s head on someone else’s body. A reporter’s probably. Looks like Air Force One.

His knee is still there because the one without Obama in it was manipulated to demonstrate how Obama was inserted in the photo in the first place. It was done to show how Madelyn fits perfectly next to her husband.
Perfectly? Either she's sitting at a very odd angle and is smaller than a normal person or she's larger than one would expect.
Obama’s knee was left behind because it wasn’t important to the demonstration, to remove him completely. I suspect Polarik made the second image, the one with the remaining knee. Nobody has the original that the photoshoppers began with. This is just an example of what they probably began with.
I suspect incompetence. Or maybe overconfidence. But the problem is that grandad and grandma don't fit together perfectly. No way were they sitting next to each other in anything like that pose.

Interesting the way she is hanging on to him. Granted she still looks pissed but she looks to be genuinely hanging onto him. I don't think she could even fake that today.

I think maybe what you remember is the original sequence, in which it was clearly shown how the wall had been destroyed in the process of placing zero between the Dunham couple. There are a number of seats along that wall, and in all of them that we found, the WALL was never in such a poor condition that the grouting looked as if it had been applied with a spade, neither was there any place where the top of the wall had a dip in it...and as the Dunhams looked so much more comfortable sitting next to each other, without zero in the middle, we simply had him taken out...but we couldn't repair the wall or make good the damage to the Dunham's clothes...
A later, similar process as shown on the thread today, simply left his knee behind, to show where he had been placed, and that's the difference you see now.
