We know that the law is only as effective as the degree of men’s willingness to enforce it. With the liberals and the entire mainstream media lined up to fight any effort by the GOP to do, too many Republicans take the easy way out and turn their attention to less difficult issues.

Btw, 18 y-o son and buddies printed out tix. Got to near the venue (Horozontal Wireless—the Stratigos Catering lot was full) and they walked. Were NOT let in—(over print of tix?) a lot were turned away—surprising turn out for this neck of the woods.

I didn’t know Rush lived in Irwin, either. I thought he was living in McKeesport. A friend of mine said that she and her husband lived in the same apartment building, wherever it was, at the same time as Rush.
Romney did have some good comments yesterday. If he could stay fired up like that, instead of issuing insipid statements designed to make sure no one is offended, he could get people enthused about voting for him.

When we first found out Romney was coming to North Huntingdon (Irwin is the TPike exit—peeps here are always very sensitive on that issue) we ALL thought the venue was the Industrial Park further out on Colonial Manor Road—(ample parking there). Horizontal is actually right beside the catering hall and even with using their parking lot (and traipsing across hilly terrain) there still wasn’t enough parking—so i dropped son & two friends off and they walked a very good distance (frankly too hot for me to do the hilliness) and then they were turned away (a lot were) the “doors” openned at 11 and they got to the door about 20 mins later. They the. Hiked over to another friends house. FWIW a lot of parking was taking by satellite trucks.
