Flash mobs are known across the United Stats as a group of people, dancing, having fun and enjoying themselves while entertaining others.
However, the Wal-Mart off Lem Turner Road in Jacksonville fell victim to a flash robbery when more than 300 people entered the store and destroyed the security system as well as some merchandise.
According to the police report, the group destroyed an electronic anti-shop lifting security scanner that costs about $1,500. The police report also stated the massive crowd could have arrived at the store after a party that was broken up on Sampson Road.
YouTube video showed the teens throwing food and merchandise around the store.
Channel 4's Crime Analyst Ken Jefferson said any sort of crime where there's hundreds of people involved is a dangerous situation.
"You've got a large number of people going and coming at the same time they are throwing produce," said Jefferson. "They are stealing items, they are all over the store. You can imagine how fearful the customers were who were in there at that particular time."
Police did not make any arrests after the mob of people took over the store. If caught, these teens could face criminal charges.

Exactly. The reporting on this was terrible. The woman newsbabe I saw said that they are just glad nobody was hurt. She acted as if this were some sort of prank. Has the whole world gone insane? Shoot these looters! That will put a stop to it.
One positive thing about Walmart is that they are proactive.
For example, nationally, they are sued by somebody several times an hour for the entire year, average. Often by scoundrels doing fake slip-and-falls.
But Walmart has decided it will not settle anything, but fight each and every case in court. To do this, it created a large “flying squad” of experienced lawyers, who can slice and dice such cases with blinding speed.
As you might imagine, this sends a powerful message to the lawyers of America. Don’t mess with Walmart.
In this case, the flash mob got away with it, once. But now the ball is in the court of Walmart’s corporate head of security.
So here is the problem: How to stop a flash mob of 300 individuals raiding your store?
While I can’t picture how this could be done, I imagine some very creative people are working on this answer right now. And this will not end well for some future flash mob.
What really cracks me up is how all the dumba&!es film each other and then post it on the internet.
It makes it a lot easier to “organize: with their “free” (we pay for them) “Obamaphones”. Google or Bing = Obamaphones.
