LOTS of Daily Kos trolls on FR today....
Finally. A voice of reason. I agree with you 100%. As bad as Obama will be for america, a Romney Presidency kills the Tea Party. The elite will have one. They can’t even invite Sarah to the Convention and ANY of you think they will give us ANYTHING????
Just vote for Obama, moron.
Hahahahaha you’re funny. And by funny I mean a Democrat.
This has to be the most ridiculous post on FR I’ve ever seen. I’m old enough to remember back when the John Birch society called President Eisenhower a communist. What crap!
No, a vote NOT for Romney is a vote for Obama. There is no other way to see it.
A request to Jim Wayne. Stop drinking your bathwater.
Total, complete and utter nonsense.
Is that what you were going for?
If Obama wins, kiss that GOP House goodbye.
I think the survival rate of nascent life, and the survival rate of Capitalism has a better chance with 3 Houses which includes Romney than 2 Houses with Obama again in the White House. I’m in no way enamored with Romney, just being pragmatic.
The passive voters argue it’s better to diminish plurality by voting for neither Obama nor Romney. An interesting theory that expects and depends on a just rebound in 2016 with possible midterm gains in 2014.
The risk is ubiquitous. I assure you, however, no one is intentionally promoting abortion and Communism.
Maybe it’s better we focus on both Houses of Congress. There’s a lot of work to be done there which we can all agree on.
I’m glad you didn’t overstate things.
In this case the two evils we must choose from are akin to a jaywalker and Satan—take your pick cuz there ain't no third inside the real world.
If people like you help reelect Obama don't expect those of us who really voted against the mulatto Marxist to share our concentration camp gruel with you.
Because of the bat s#!) crazy ideas like this on this web site, my contribution dollars have already gone to Romney.
"If the American people knew tonight, exactly how the monetary and banking system worked, there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning." - Abraham Lincoln
The same could be said about the political system. The power behind the throne isn't capitalist or socialist, conservative or progressive. It is motivated by an insatiable lust for power regardless of how that power is achieved. The political hurly-burly that fills the 24 news cycle is mostly theater doing what theater does - manipulating our emotions.
There was a time when FR was peopled with real conservatives, not sellouts. Nowadays, FR posters have been so manipulated by Rush, Fox, etc. to support a Leftist that they grumble meekly about not having a real conservative in the presidential election, but become fiery and passionate about voting for Romney in order to defeat Obama regardless of Romney's blatant Leftism.
So, FReepers have been skillfully herded into a pen where they can moo discontentedly, but still trudge off in resignation to the slaughterhouse.
I am an independent. I left the Republican party due to the fact that it has been taken over by moderates. That said, I wish the Republicans had a good conservative candidate nominee, but they don’t.
All that said, Calling Romney a communist is laughable.
oh, please....
Good post, Jim. Don’t worry about the Romneybots. All it will take is five to seven percent of the conservative vote refusing to vote for Romney to sink him and the SS RINO.
It does not get much more absurd than this. Right - if we have the House and Senate and they vote to repeal Obamacare, President Obama is more likely to sign that repeal into law than a President Romney would when the bill reached the President's desk. Sure...no difference in what would happen there.
The next president will determine control of the Supreme Court...I'm not entirely optimistic on the judges that would be appointed by Romney but there is a 0% chance the appointments by Obama would be anything other than a radical leftist. I suspect the ones appointed by Romney would likely be in the Sandra Day O'Connor / Anthony Kennedy mold...which is still far better than Kagan types.
The GOP-e did not pick Mitt Romney. Our own voters did - not in every primary by large margins, but on the whole they did...including by tea party voters and in primaries where they simultaneously tossed out long entrenched GOP incumbents or other candidates that were heavily backed by the establishment by overwhelming numbers. Who knows why...but they did...and there was much more influence of alternate media this go round.
We play with the hand we are dealt...not the one we wish we were dealt. If Obama has another 4 years, your nonsensical comments about a "strengthened tea party" will be irrelevant - the transformation will be complete.
What are you doing constructive in this election other than sitting around engaging in rants on an internet forum? Have you done anything to help Richard Mourdock? Deb Fisher? Etc.? Or just whining about another race where our preferred candidate(s) did not prevail?
