“Voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil”
You probably thought this shallow platitude was a slam dunk, but you’re missing something aren’t you? It’s a matter of degree.
There are only two choices here, right?
Suppose you had a choice between Minor Evil and Major Evil, don’t you think God would want you to MINIMIZE Evil and would not fault you for voting for the lesser evil if there are ONLY two choices??
If you don’t agree with what I suggested here, re-read that paragraph again and again until the logic sinks in. God would be understanding of your decision because that’s the rational thing to do.
So far, people aren’t making a convincing argument that Mittens is more evil than Obama. He’s certainly saying a lot of the correct things about the economy and free markets isn’t he? And he’s swinging for the fences trying to destroy Obutthole’s credibility. There’s a world of a difference in his campaign messages compared to those from the evil, hateful leftist Obama.
No one, aside from Christ, was free from sin.
So, voting for ANYONE is voting for a “lesser evil”.
It’s interesting that your standards are so malleable. Maybe you have never really meant what you are now stating, because I would imagine you have voted for a presidential candidate before.
