NAACP leader accuses Romney of favoring white people after speech
Daily Caller ^ | 07/11/2012 | Alex Pappas

The response from one NAACP leader after Mitt Romney’s speech before the organization on Wednesday? He favors white people.

“I believe his vested interests are in white Americans,” Charlette Stoker Manning, the chairwoman of Women in NAACP, told the website BuzzFeed following the Republican candidate’s Wednesday speech in Houston.

“You cannot possibly talk about jobs for black people at the level he’s coming from. He’s talking about entrepreneurship, savings accounts — black people can barely find a way to get back and forth from work,” Manning said.

Romney was booed at several points throughout his speech — the loudest being when Romney spoke of his desire to see “Obamacare” repealed. The Republican also received applause at times throughout the speech, notably for saying he’d protect traditional marriage.

In his speech, he argued that a Romney administration would better serve African-American voters.

“If you want a president who will make things better in the African-American community, you are looking at him,” Romney said.

In a statement released Wednesday afternoon, the NAACP thanked Romney for addressing the convention but stressed they disagree with his policies.

“While we are glad that Governor Romney recognized the power of the black electorate, he laid out an agenda that was antithetical to many of our interests,” said NAACP President Benjamin Todd Jealous.

Is Manning in the NAACP or the KKK's ladies auxiliary? Because those exact words could have come from the Klan.

Now we just need to figure out what the second A in NAACP stands for, because we know it is certainly no longer "Advancement".

Let’s see a guy that voted for Zero because he was black is accusing Romney of favoring white people?...

How do you dialog with a guy in this intellectual state?...
Answer you can’t..

Black people generally almost totally are delusional..
Very low intellectual level.. pity but its seems to be true..

Even college educated blacks are delusional...
The schools are almost worthless... for people of any race.. at least the teachers are...

Romney was speaking before the OVERSEERS of the Democrat Plantation.

Almost every person in that room makes a living either pimping racism, from race-baiting, or from race-based gubment handouts and payoffs.

It was like speaking before the Black KKK

Deep down, I don’t think those in charge of the NAACP ultimately care much about black poverty, broken homes, etc. It’s all about power and getting rich off the system.

They’ll string people along for decades with the same old promises and excuses. Nothing will change until people finally realize they are being deceived by their supposed “friends” and “leaders”.

Romney should have asked them to state just what Obama has done for them in the last four years. Are they better off?

“I believe his vested interests are in white Americans.”

Ms. Manning, I can understand why you would be upset if that’s your belief.

It would mean that Romney’s interests were not all inclusive and neglected certain people based on the color of their skin.

It would be analogous to the NAACP’s vested interests being strictly in black Americans.

And, of course, we know that your organization is solely interested in that which benefits all races.

Like obama is a friend to anybody who isn't a muslim. I know a lot of muslims, and obama fits the bill to a tee. The blacks have no friend in obama. He's just like the the middle eastern slave traders of ancient times, he'll sell you out in a heartbeat for personal gain. The greatest tragedy for black Americans is being fooled into believing that a government could solve all of their problems. Join the club, ALL OF US were fooled. I don't care who you are, or where you came from, we were ALL taken for a ride. The only way to redeem ourselves, is to go back to our core Constitutional law.

What she is really saying....

You cannot possibly talk about jobs for black people at the level he’s coming from. He’s talking about entrepreneurship, savings accounts — black people are incapable of doing those things!

Even when the daily commute involves crossing a border, carjacking a ride to the office, and then the return trip home.

"The greatest tragedy for black Americans is being fooled into believing that a government could solve all of their problems."

The problem is, Republicans sat back (as they almost always do) and allowed the left to control the dialogue all those years.

“How is it that Asians, who don’t even speak English, can come to this country and start successful businesses?”

Because those who come to the U.S. LEGALLY, bring money with them.
They tend to be from the wealthy end of the scale back home.
When they come as legal immigrants they have a sponsor, they know that running afoul of the law can get them sent back in shame.

Even when they are illegals they also have a strong family co-op system, everyone works, but only gets to keep a pittance of wages for themselves.
Most funds are turned over to the eldest male, he will choose a business to start or buy using the pooled funds.
Some families may have a vote, most, not likely.

“Black” families, or any other, COULD do the same, but will not.
Americans in general are too selfish and independent to sacrifice like that for a few years. (See “Saving for the future”, under obsolete terminology!)

Among the “Black” families, even if an actual functioning family could be found, no one is going to trust their money to any long range group plan they are not the one in charge of.

Not to be too facetious, but I could do pretty well for myself with forty acres and a mule.
“Blacks” got that, but few prospered.
The younger generation wants their shot at easy money, one way or another.
