I watched it because it got some negative reviews meaning that Sorkin was not toeing the leftist line and maybe it was an honest assessment. After last night’s show there is no doubt that this is just another hateful screed platform for Sorkin to go on and on - another self righteous blowhard liberal who never comes near the realities of life if they don’t agree with his psycho leftist view of the world. I am done watching it, I really don’t need any more propaganda in my life.
The show sucked anyway! These speeches are bores!

That should make them take a harder turn left and see if their ratings improve. They might drop a few more points, but that makes me happy. Of course, I've never watched that program.
Sorkin is not very creative. He is the “recycler”. A one trick pony:

The Newsroom is recycled Sorkin trash produced with a lot of money. Sorkin picks an old news topic, takes a couple of hits of Extacy, then spins the topic into something akin to a wresting match. Fake good vs fake evil. All done up with “super serious” music and very serious people who are obviously very smart unless they are not raging liberals.
To me it is very funny. Listen to the “dialog”. No humans speak the way Sorkin writes. His characters are all incabable of saying “uh” or “you know” or anything that people use to pause when they think a little unless they are one of the good guy super liberals. They are all MENSA members who have perfect insights to everything. Anyone else that does not see things Sorkins way are buffoons. The “bad” guys on the right are all idiots and creeps.
The Newsroom is a liberal circle jerk that will last awhile on TV because is looks good and there is more money behind it than, say, Air America. It is shot like an early MTV video. Short scene, cut, pan, focus in, short scene, loop until episode is over. Watching Sorkin is like watching a dog pant heavily as if it is about to faint. The animal gets your attention because it looks so serious so you keep your eyes on it. But after awhile you start to understand it is just a dumb dog that is overheated. Then it pees on your leg.
What I find funniest is how important the “good” liberal characters are as they do their news “show”. They are so important and they are changing the world. But just for about an hour. Then they go home. LOL!
Air-And Sucking has created an HBO show that is biased towards liberals and treats conservatives like aphids in your garden??? Well, you could knock me over with a feather.
