The flaw in his logic is that if enough jobs are exported, there won’t be enough people able to afford hairdressers. They will just cut their own hair, or friends will cut each other’s. And forget fast-food workers — I’ve found it easier, cheaper, and more nutritious to bring leftovers from home and warm them in the office microwave.
It says (no joke) on the box that it won't work with "tight, curly hair" i.e. black hair.
Plus they can have special “cash only” pricing and can barter their services.

I can honestly say that most women search and search for a good hair stylist. When we do find one... we KEEP them! I tip mine very nicely because I’ve been through the “will it ever grow out and look normal again” phase.. more than once. Good ones (like your daughter) are GOLD!

Gunsmiths around my area typically get around 75 bucks per hour with a 45 dollar initial fee to to look at your gun. They are usually swamped with business and turn a lot of business away.
I guess those folks need to buy the “Hair Wiz” from post 17, the commercial says you can use it to “trim those bushy sideburns” :)
My hairdresser comes to our house, for the girls and me. When Bill, young Beau Handsome, needs extra styling he goes to her. Her son is in my Cub Scouts den, and she’s an epic flake, but she can sure cut hair.
Bet you right wing nuts didn't know it was possible to pander to my base and help the economy at the same time!

The jobs can’t be exported, but workers can be IMPORTED. I work with the elderly and many of the workers in retirement homes are foreign.
Wow! You found one to come to your house, too?!! I found my hairdresser about ten years back. I was having a difficult time scheduling appointments around nap times/feeding times and it showed! A friend of mine suggested her and I was thrilled! She can cut everyone in the family. The only styling she doesn’t like to do is perms (fine with me since I just highlight). She makes a good living and told me she started an “at your home” business for Mom with young kids/elderly who no longer drive/people recovering from surgery etc... She is booked solid. Good talking to you TC! I haven’t seen your name in a while. Missed you terribly!!
