Rasmussen: Conservative Anger Against Obamacare Hitting 'Stratospheric Levels'

Conservative interest in the presidential election hit “stratospheric levels” following last week’s Supreme Court ruling upholding Obamacare, noted pollster and author Scott Rasmussen tells Newsmax.TV.

“All that did was energize conservatives,” declared Rasmussen in an exclusive interview on Monday. “The conservative interest in the election was already much higher than that of moderates and liberals. It went up to really stratospheric levels right after the ruling. We don’t know if that will continue or if it’s just a temporary response to the news cycle.”

I only regret that I have but one vote to give for my country.

I’m going to vote my conscience and do everything I can to get the down ballot candidates elected. I will hold my nose for RomneyCare.

Conservative Anger Against Obamacare Hitting 'Stratospheric Levels'

I do believe, that is what Judge Roberts had in mind.

Judge Roberts intended to kill 3 birds with one stone.

The commerce clause will no longer serve as an easy excuse for creating more government programs.

Re-defined Obamacare as a huge taxing program, which the people won't be very happy about, and Obama and the democrats will get the sole blame.

And, with the people getting outraged, and working harder than ever to get rid of Obama, it will be "check-mate".

Three birds, one stone. Judge Roberts was playing chess at a high level, while Obama and the democrats, and the press, were all playing checkers, and weren't ready for the "unexpected" ruling.

Scott, you’ve no idea, I mean, you just cannot even fathom.

But it really doesn’t even matter.

Electing Romney doesn’t matter, replealing ObamaTax doesn’t matter, the precedent has been set.

Law was written by Chief Traitor John Roberts, and it cannot be overturned by any civil means at all.

The federal government can now compel behavior via taxation, and there isn’t a damn thing that can be done about it.

America is dead.

Third-party voters will “teach the GOP a lesson.”

The supreme court is supposed to uphold the Constitution which does not list control of healthcare anywhere in the enumerated powers of the Federal Government. The Supreme Court is supposed to protect us from the tyrrany of the majority, but they have delivered us into the hands of yhe lying tyrants.

I’m gonna vote my conscience and go with Romney. I guess a lot of freepers will be voting their consciences too and going 3rd party.

I did not vote for Romney in the Florida Primaries. But the bottom line in my book, Mitt Romney won fair and square the GOP nomination. Is he has conservative as I would like? No.

At this point any warm body is better than Obama. Its going to be Mitt vs Barack and if you vote for a 3rd person or do a write in, you are really just giving a vote for Obama.

Rassmussen is correct, I am over the top livid over the Supreme Court decision. The only minor sign of a silver lininng is the fact we can now at least call ObamaCare what it really is OBAMATAX.

I would craw over a mile on broken glass in 100 degree heat to get to the polls in November. I cannot wait to vote. I am dying to do my part to get this joker out of the White House.

In addition.

Did you know--- Regarding Obama Care --- this "TAX" has a provision requiring all persons have a chip implanted to make it possible to access all your medical records and history for the supposed purpose of "Health Care." Here's the RFID in Obama care:

It is bad enough that we have been ScaMMed by this administration and their Health Care TAX. Now we will be ScaNNed!

Who, pray tell, will stand up for the future liberty of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of so-called "progressives" (or "liberals") if it is not today's conservatives, whose goal is to restore the Constitution's protections for individuals and strict limitations on the coercive power of government to "take" and "redistribute" away every single bit of wealth the nation's workers can create?

"Ideas have consequences!" Weaver

The "idea" of "redistribution" by imperfect persons in government relies on an assumption which is flawed, which has never been proven to work in any society where it has been implemented, and makes all but the political elites dependent slaves to their "masters" in government.

America's Constitution, on the other hand, relies on the idea of Creator-endowed individual life, rights, liberty and laws to protect them. It puts individuals, who make up the "We, the People" of the Constitution's Preamble, in charge of those imperfect people elected to positions of power in government, giving them only limited opportunity to exert power over "the People."

Now, why can't those super-intelligent "progressives" understand that? (Sarc) Oh, by the time they've had their brief stint in power on this earth, they don't really care about the freedom of their own posterity? Say it isn't so!!

Running_dog, my conscience wanted another choice as well, but our main priority MUST be to get 0bama out of office. I will vote Romney if that is the best way to get 0bama out. Romney may be far from perfect, but we need to get the destroyer out of the Oval Office.

Get as many conservatives in the House and Senate and we can begin to turn the ship around, but it will take some time after all the damage 0bama has done.

"These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed, if so celestial an article as Freedom should not be highly rated."

Thomas Paine

Godspeed, my friend.

Your response has nothing to do with what you said in the post to which I responded. I was impressed that you boiled down what we conservatives ought to do to...Vote for Romney.

The angry people were on the Dem side in 2008.

Our side was demoralized with McCain vowing to run a ‘clean’ campaign, refusing to attack Obama.

In 2010 folks showed up. Here’s hopinng for more this time around.
