This is the price for living in a free country.

You’ve mistaken “Freedom” for “Security.” Those who would trade Freedom for Security will have neither.

———The Courier & Press said the police had been investigating “anonymous and specific online threats made against police and their families on the website topix.com,” and had obtained a search warrant for the Milan house-——

Wait a damn minute.... A judge issued a search warrant on “anonymous” threats made online ?

Maybe the judge signs anything put in front of him.

“You’ve mistaken “Freedom” for “Security.” Those who would trade Freedom for Security will have neither.”

I was being sarcastic. I should have posted the usual warning.

Let me know what you find - a place on the beach, maid, stable currency, some adult beverages, wideband, already had the wife for 32 years so that’s covered, 2A rights at least in the home, etc. anyway $2000/mth and I’m in ... a jacuzzi wouldn’t hurt.

Of course it goes without saying that it’d be best if the muslims didn’t have some misbegotten claim to the area or just made one up to justify their atrocities lately ... that makes your decision harder.

Rats - down to like 2 countries. You?

Once your door is smashed in and a flash bang goes off - its over for you that night. No matter how many you may “get”.

Its going to end badly. Call somebody, put your phone in your pocket (microphone up)and put your hands up with your back to the leos and scream “Help me!” repeatedly. Trust me. ;-)

Good luck with that resistance thing unless you have a tank too?

This isn’t rocket science, people. The SWAT raid is an indicator of a bad police chief.

You organize the local VFW and American Legion and get involved. Then you attend the local town council meeting with about 200 vets and demand that the chief be fired.

That’s how we fired two police chiefs in my town. They were a-holes and needed to go, and we got rid of them.

The key operative phrase is GET INVOLVED. That means for two nights a month you don’t go fishing, you don’t work on the kitchen addition and you don’t watch pre-season football. You lift your fat, lazy butt off the couch or flotation cushion and start controlling what’s going on in your local government.

An increasing number of officers are willing—and eager-—to be “just following orders”.

We need to stop this. Now.

Me too. Raiding the wrong person’s house under color of law is illegal. No protection under immunity for these badged thugs.
