Justice Roberts Pleads: 'Lie to Me'
American Thinker ^ | June 29, 2012 | C. Edmund Wright

When the shocking ObamaCare ruling came from the Supreme Court Thursday morning, the reaction from the conservative pundit class started with befuddlement -- then worked through confusion, shock, and of course anger. Later in the day, however, the pundit elites started to furrow their brows and dust off their elbow patches -- and proceeded to try to convince us rubes that we had overreacted. They treated us to all kinds of contorted rationalizations and justifications full of pseudo-intellectual gobbledygook.

Sorry, folks. As we say in flyover country, "that dog won't hunt." We just saw the Court sanction unlimited taxation on behavior and give permission to lie about it at the same time. And no amount of tortured ruminations from elites can put lipstick on that particular pig. Please. Don't lie to me.

Unjustice Roberts is a sham, he is nothing but a left-wing scumbag. After we take over in January we should set out to impeach Roberts.

The author nails it. But he also doesn’t see why it really was a win for our side: we finally got our tacit acknowledgement that the game is rigged. We can finally put to rest the tired canard that the SCOTUS acts as some sort of court of Constitutional benevolence to save us from usurpations of our liberties. No, the curtain has been pulled aside and we’ve gotten to see what is behind it.

The truth may hurt, but I do believe that it will eventually set us free.

That particular 2x4 of truth has been smacking us in the head for 100 years - and we still sleep. President Bush - you are a nice man - but I spit on almost everything you did and did not do as President. Fool.

Lie To Me
by Depeche Mode

Come on and lay with me
Come on and lie to me
Tell me you love me
Say I’m the only one

Experiences have a lasting impression
But words once spoken
Don’t mean a lot now
Belief is the way
The way of the innocent
And when I say innocent
I should say naive
So lie to me
But do it with sincerity
Make me listen
Just for a minute
Make me think
There’s some truth in it

Promises made for convenience
Aren’t necessarily
What we need
Truth is a word
That’s lost its meaning
The truth has become
Merely half-truth
So lie to me
Like they do it in the factory
Make me think
That at the end of the day
Some great reward
Will be coming my way

Bush`s fault.

This time, yep, at least in part. The sooner the GOP stops being the party of the Bush family, the better off this country will be. Unfortunately, Romney is cut from the same cloth as the Bush clan, so not much change there.

Can someone point out where Roberts is to be buried?
I want to start pissing on his grave right away. No reason to wait until he dies.
Maybe I should start a business.
You send me your urine in a container and I pour it on Roberts’ grave.

“No, the curtain has been pulled aside and we’ve gotten to see what is behind it.”

Well I have to admit I was one of the ones who had the curtain pulled back. I was already counting this win. I can’t believe whats happened. I think I’m living in a different country. This can’t be America. So you’re now
you’re telling me that the United States Government can FORCE me to BUY something. Unbelieveable

I have to admit that having CJ Arnold be the one who delivered the opinion was surprising, but not that much. I sort of expected obamacare to be upheld, but not in such a Dred Scott manner.
