For those of you who hope to overturn all these huge government power grabs by election this November, name one tyranny in history that was overturned by popular vote.
This week the SCOTUS has stamped 'closed' to the Constitution, state's rights, voter's rights... For almost a century the Marxists have been trying to run over the Constitution; this week it is signed, sealed and buried.
Once again I call for a Constitutional Convention of states with a view towards secession!
The country that used to be called 'The United States of America' will squabble and pettifog over all these issues, and of course the Democrap Party and their shills in the media will end up with everything they want. I say, 'Let them have their Utopian tyranny! Let us seek freedom!'
Time to argue secession and a new Constitutional Republic.
Gov. Scott of Florida has said he will abide by the law... we will see. I think I will write him.

3140 counties. 1,477,000 Active duty military gives 470 military per county. 1,458,000 reserves gives another 450 per county. Double that for total local law enforcement = about 1,500 armed personnel per county.
A constitutional convention is the last thing you want since they are not limited in agenda. You'd have abortion enshrined, the ERA, marriage of any sort imaginable, single-payer, tax policy you couldn't fathom, etc., etc.
If ObamaCare was going to be upheld, this was the least awful, least damaging outcome.

Except this isn’t about healthcare anymore. This is about the court saying the government has the right to reach into your pocket and take whatever is there as a tax for any reason.

We still have an economic collapse on our side. It will not be a peaceful vote that will overturn all this, but a Soviet Union style collapse which finally will.
You already know what I think about a constitutional convention from my post to you a few days ago...methinks it will eventually lead to CWII.
Then again, the Constitution does provide for a reset button. Maybe it's time to reboot.

You asked...there are more. The beauty of our system is we can overturn tyranny. I agree we are nearing the edge where that will be difficult, but it is more than possible...it is likely at this point.
We each must work to help overcome this democrat party tyranny...and the liberal Republican establishment.
That's why we need to get started. I actually think we will get to the number quite easily now. One thing is for sure in my mind. The establishment Republicans are hearing the chatter about a Constitutional Convention and they are concerned. Why do I get the feeling people like Eric Cantor and even Romney are actually quietly celebrating this decision? We still need to vote for Romney and try to win the triple crown in November but we must keep in mind this is a back up plan only. IMO, Amending the constitution by convention is the only sure way to reestablish limited government.
I just saw Eric Cantor say on Hannity "the ONLY" way to get rid of Obamacare is to elect Republican's in November. WRONG! Individual states can change the constitution and WE DONT NEED YOU TO DO IT!
