Jerry Sandusky will reportedly still receive a state pension payment of more than $4,900 per month despite being found guilty last week on 45 molestation charges, according to Pennsylvania law.

Reuters reports that, by law, the former Penn State assistant football coach would only forfeit his pension after being sentenced for an Act 140 state crime. Crimes such as extortion and bribery by a public employee are covered by that act, but not violent crimes or sexual abuse.

This is just classic....we get kicked in the balls today with the USSC saying that we can be taxed for anything, and now this pedophile is going to keep getting paid while in prison.

Here's hoping that Russia and China get off their asses and land their military on our shores..

that way we can fight them back off of our shores, and hopefully take out the idiots in DC at the same time..

Now we know why his wife stood by him through all this.

What should be the limit of punishment? Tried and convicted in court and sentenced to jail only? Take his house away? Take his cars? All his clothing? Take his savings accounts? His shoes? Take his pension? No social Security? Make him divorce? No visitors ever? No desserts for the rest of his life? What is the limit?

If we are a Country of laws, then we need to adhere to the laws. If anyone (military general, school teacher, cop, truck driver or web site owner) breaks the law and their assets, including retirement, were not acquired by a crime, then those assets should be left alone.

Yes, pedophilia should be punishable by life in prison, but to punish their families by taking all their assets is not reasonable.

Nope. That is the job of the judgement resulting from the blizzard of civil suits sure to hit Sandusky in the wake of the verdicts. I'm okay with the victims and their lawyers getting the dough.

I’ll bet a nickel that his pension can’t be considered in a civil suit.

I’m good with civil lawsuits taking his assets. Good point.

After the civil suits, the state that betrayed all those boys, will be paying them Sandusky’s benefits.

You are ignoring the Second Rule for Lawyers: Who are the deep pockets? Hint: it ain’t Sandusky...

a football couch gets $60k/yr on retirement??

of course, he didn’t put any money in along the way...

and made a very good salary while ‘working’

now the rest of us get to pay for his retirement...

meanwhile, I put 15% of my income in every year for life... and I won’t get a dime. brilliant

these people need to f*ck off

>>Jerry Sandusky will reportedly still receive a state pension payment of more than $4,900 per month<<

...and this is why states are failing.

His pension should be deposited into an account for the victims of his perversion.

Call it, “Stolen innocence trust”.
