Seems that we heard the same line of crap from Obama. It's a popular talking point of socialist politicians.

Seems that we heard the same line of crap from Obama. While I do not believe Romney for an instant, what is being said here is very different from what Obama said.
Obama said his main concern was fixing the economy, because if he didn't fix the economy he would be a one-term President - meaning his main goal was to be reelected.
What Portman is saying is that Romney would be willing to deliberately make tough and unpopular decisions that would prevent him from being reelected - meaning his main goal is doing long-term good for the country and not reelection.
Very different messages.

“In an interview with Matt Lauer in the beginning of his presidency, Barack Obama said he should only serve one term if he could not fix the economy.”
Yep. They’re using the same playbook.
But Romney’s better than Zero, like Brown’s better than Pocahantas.
How?

Well in Obama’s case he has done everything he wanted. He ran rough shot over the congress and the American people. He has gotten two stimulus packages, paid off his cronies and pushed for PObamacare against the will of everyone much to the detriment of his political parties and more than a few of their careers. If he is a pone term president the damage could last decades.
