This is a major disaster. Now the people (idiots) in Egypt are not going to experience democracy, they are going to experience terrorism, and opression. Live and learn.

Who thinks the military is done yet? The army will lose but it may not be pretty. Overthrow of totalitarian regimes is frequently (we are a fairly unique exemption) followed by some theocracy. We can only hope the reformation doesn’t take centuries. Some of this can be blamed on the treatment of the more westernized segments of Iran and Egypt. The change was slow that many are now in the west. Especially the Iranians.
