Note that I’m getting a lot of “service temporarily unavailble”. Keep hitting refresh, folks, it will eventually work. So many Sundays this happens, only on Sunday mornings. Why?

I dunno.

Maybe He's pissed we're not at church.

Same thing here Fishtalk. Maybe we can get Issa to have another investigation into the FR server problems. Might be a Commurat plot to do us in. /sar

BTW, we are now in Charlotte, NC for the next thirteen weeks or so.

Considering that VP's most often sit and rot, can never get credit for anything, except blame, he's wise to refuse. Especially, if he thinks like I do that Rubio's assistance on the ticket is not essential to victory. It's a less dire decision with Obie's daily exploding cigars.

Secondly, I have total confidence Romney will succeed, which means he's in for 8 most likely, which means Rubio sits on his behind for 6 years. In fact, Marco spoke the phrase "6 years".

Should we have evidence we can't win without Rubio before the decision must be made, then I'd call Rubio out for selfish self-interest.

What say you all ?

Rubio pulled off facing dnc dave and the NBCrap program. Other Republicans would not do as well and should avoid ever going on a NBCrap network.

There is an alternative, take both of them off and get someone else less lib and much less full of themselves.

Rubio, to DNC Dave, on whether he would advocate using money from closing tax loopholes to lower the deficit:

“I reject the premise of your question...”

I wish I heard that more often from GOPers.

Too bad Senator Rubio did not apply that answer to the question about West Coast or East Coast Rap/HipHop music. I suppose the next round of interviews will include questions about "briefs or boxers" or "what kind of tree would you be?"

You are absolutely and without reservation correct: “We spend out time fighting their lies.” What time we don’t spend on that we spend answering false assertions or questions or accusations.

Why aren’t we smart enough to devise a tactic to deal with this? I claim it is because we are not willing to get into the knife fight with them. We are stilly trying to play by some rules.

They, on the other hand, have no rules. They have no honor, no sense of shame, no concept of the future and their credibility in it. They count on the sheeple to forget and the sheeple do forget, in no time at all. The lefties are usually not good chess players. They mostly don’t think a single move ahead. There is mostly only the now and winning right now any way they can.

How you behave, your honor, your shame all pivot on your belief that there is a future, people do remember, your reputation matters, there is a judgement coming... you have a soul that you value. This is what keeps you honest.

Well you gave me the laff of the day.

Can this administration get any stupider? I’m serious, same mockery if the Republicans did such a thing. Got to do with the life surround of the political class and us common class peons.

The jokes write themselves.

We the common people don’t especially want to give gifts of their exulted selves on a happy family event having nothing to do with them. At least as I see it.

Something about common sense. The political elite, they have no commong sense. Only the common people have common sense.

Hence the name.

Seriously, every word you said is correct.

But is understood only by the common people. Those with the common sense.

Does not apply or is understood by the political class.

I agree that VP is not always the most glorious position to hold.Problem is we want a more or less guarantee that our side will win, elite pubbies not withstanding. They--the Roves and Peggy Noonans' of the party who poo-pooed a Rubio VP selection this morning all think that Palin and Rubio are bad for the party. They can all go to hell as far as I am concerned.

Marco is seen as a huge asset for our side as far as the Hispanic vote goes.

This is true but only a very small part of the Marco Rubio effect,IMHO.

This guy has charisma!!He's a conservative on fire with all the right ideas from the economy to immigration to our status around the world. He is "the" complete package and I wish more people would see this.

We all know that Issa is THE driving force in Congress. Soros and O are going all out to defeat him at the polls. If it is even close, we should set up a line for his website and contribute.

I recall Clinton’s Impeachment. The most effective House Manager, James Rogan from California went down in the mosr expensive Congressional elecitosn in history up to that time.

Linda Grahamnesty was a showboat but also a sucked up and insured Bubba wuld not be “removed” but only “impeached”. The fix was in, and one of our brave (Rogan) men paid.

As Wiki says: Rogan was even made to wait over a year to be denied a vote as a Federal Judgde (nominated by W). Pay back is thorough and Dems have a long memory.

This is screaming at the wind but, WE HAVE A COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION POLICY.

What we need is ENFORCEMENT of the immigration laws we have.

Try going around for very long without a passport and a proper visa stamp anywhere else in the world and see how far you get before you either go to jail or are deported. They aren’t very nice at all when you are found out either. I have been there and experienced it first hand in at least three countries.

Our borders aren’t porous... they just don’t exist anymore. The mighty USA, stupidest electorate on the planet and most corrupt government.

Still, not much different from all the other Journ-0-lists at all the other diverse places.

On Rassmusen, Obambi holding steady at -22

Sunday, June 24, 2012

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows Mitt Romney attracting 48% of the vote, while President Obama earns 43%. Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided.

Enjoy.

Where did this Leftist domination of the press come from?

You gotta wonder sometimes if there is not a sort of left wing cabal between the whacked out movie types in Hollywood and the NYC abc, cbs, nbc types on the other coast. It must be all bout glitz and glamor, vanity and extreme shallowness all left wing traits. You only have to see matt laueerrrr in dark sunglasses a few times to figure out who they really think they are.And it ain't a journalist.

Perry was on with the ‘old dude.’ Old dude doesn’t have the energy to be really nasty anymore, but he did show the clip of Perry’s very worst moment in the debates, the one in which he invoked the ‘heart’ comment.

Perry was unfazed and explained the difference between instate tuition and the bill that Obama presented and then passed all by himself (who needs that pesky congress)

He then brought up border control. At last. Border control is the center of this whole thing.

Did you happen to catch THIS down in paragraph 9 of Scott Rasmussen's results today?

"A president’s Job Approval rating is one of the best indicators for assessing his chances of reelection. Typically, the president’s Job Approval rating on Election Day will be close to the share of the vote he receives. Currently, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's job performance."

Now that is a statement that warms the cockles of my old heart! (THANKS, Scott!!!)

Glad to see you settled in. Miss Lewes? Cause ain’t nowhere in the world quite like Lewes Delaware.

Latest on Vance Phillips-don’t know how much you were keeping up with the Sussex county stuff-but Phillips the guy who kicked the sheriff in the groin. Then he fell from the sky in some sort of soaring airplane and now he’s accused of having an affair with 17-year old, seen acting inappropriately at the Bridgeville Apple-Scrapple Festival.

Sussex county Delaware, more interesting than any metropolis, I tell you.

I’m campaign Treasurer now for TWO challenger candidates for the Sussex county council. The local yokel GOP, neanderthals us all, are putting up a candidate against every council member voting to get rid of the Sheriff.

Remember y’all, you heard it here first.

Heh.

Look - if we 'fight' democrats - the doting court eunuchs of the MSM will ONLY report what makes dems look good and what makes us look bad.

Then they'll run to all the reliable back stabbers like McCain and Jeb Bush and get them on the record talking about how extreme we are... Ever notice that the MSM NEVER gives 'maverick' status to a Democrat? Democrats who speak against Democrats get ZERO press coverage. Instant persona non grata... for a Republican it means they can always get on Sunday morning.

Some citizens still trust the media - it's how they would know what happened in the 'fight'. What will they know? MSNBC will out right lie and doctor tapes.. The rest of them won't cover it or they'll slant it so badly it becomes a lie.

Step ONE is help citizens understand what liars the press is made up of...to know what NBC does and how the others cover for them. They need to know the bias - so great they didn't cover Fast and Furious until they got some tip from their dem handlers that maybe they could pin some of it on Bush. Turns out they couldn't, but that got the little creeps moving.

Another example, Obama was at a fund raiser for Hispanics - and he had all knives and forks removed before he'd enter the room. Doesn't happen with any other any other racial group. The MSM didn't cover it. Do you think the 'Press' would have covered that story if Bush had done it? We'd still be hearing about it.

Yes, we need ideas to fight democrats - but first help us inform the American people that their 'free press' lies to them...

The MSM didn't cover it. Do you think the 'Press' would have covered that story if Bush had done it? We'd still be hearing about it.

Yes, we need ideas to fight democrats - but first help us inform the American people that their 'free press' lies to them...

I’ll never forget his hysteria over the folks on the bridge after “Katrina”, the hurricane which missed NOLA.

I have another suggestion and just to make it real, I’ll use a real life example.

You’re comment is right, of course, that the MSM would manage to make any fighting back against the bullying media a Republican action of bad taste.

But there’s power. Lookit, Obamer’s a nothing-burger and even George Cloony and the Hollywood folks know it. But he’s the PRESIDENT and the American president will always carry a lot of power no matter what a dope.

To answer those Dem lies about F&F having begun as a Dubya program, get George Bush on Meet the Press. Have this FORMER President explain about his version of that program and state, with a bit of testicular fortitude would be nice, that his Gun Walker program ended in 2007.

Well sure there’s Repubs out there explaining this, Thank God for this, but get a former President out and making this statement.

Dick Cheney embraced this notion in his book. I’d mentioned upthread that Cheney was more liberal than I thought. But he did assert that he thought it was prudent for him to speak out after his VP stint ended, to go on TV and state the truth.

Sure, he got villified by the press but so what? Keep saying the truth and using the same logic as the Dem repeated lies, say it over and over again and....well you’ll at least confuse people rather than have them buying the lies with no rebuttal.

Point is the pubs need to have a plan of attack and they need to stick to it. But getting the pubs to stick together on anything is a bit like herding cats. They’re prizes in the congressional lottery are days without being demonized in the press, cocktail party invites....and the like.

First and foremost, goodness, the pubs need to see that SOMETHING has to be done. We can’t just stand by and let the dolts in the “journalism” and Big Hollywood community take away our country.
