The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney attracting 48% of the vote, while President Obama earns 43%. Six percent (6%) prefer some other candidate, and another three percent (3%) are undecided.
The president picks up support from just 35% of white voters overall. That’s eight points below the 43% of the white vote he won in 2008. Among white Democrats, 17% currently plan to vote for Romney.

In addition to the reaction to a drumbeat of negative economic data, this sure sounds like it! I'm thinking he had to know the EP move was going to damage him politically... that tells me those F&F documents have some nasty, incriminating stuff.
Having opted for EP, Obama now owns that issue fully and has painted himself into a deep corner.
If Undecideds tend to break toward the new guy and away from the incumbent, as Dick Morris says, and if Romney picks up maybe a few of the 6% still looking for Mr Perfect, this could very well be near landslide proportions. Personally, I ain’t happy about Mitt, but he’s American... and I’m voting for him.

If Rassmussen is correct and:
If half of those “preferring some other candidate” hold their collective noses and vote for Romney, half of the undecided do so likewise, and that 65% of whites all vote with intensity against Obama (as they likely will) Obama will lose in the largest defeat in Presidential electoral history. And I would imagine that such as loss would wipe out any Democratic Party hopes for Congress. And if Romney wins, turns this thing around in a notable way..we may never see another “progressive” run for office and win..except maybe in San Francisco.
Decision Day for the Dems. Do we find a way to throw Barry under the bus, or ride him into oblivion in November? Time is running out.
In Rasmussen and Gallup, Romney has led for days (with RAS starting to show a bit of daylight between the two), and Obama’s approval levels have been underwater.
They reveal that bogus Bloomberg poll (0bama at +13) for the BS line that it is.
Rasmussen has been a very consistent pollster over time, and if these numbers are true at this point in the election cycle, Obama is toast. Undecided voters nearly always break for the challenger, especially when the incumbent’s support is range-bound and has a discernible ceiling, as is the case with Obama (his ceiling is around 47%),
All that said, it's absolutely incredible for Romney to be where he is, given the blatant support of the drive by media for ZEro
It’d be rather difficult to top that smackdown Reagan gave to Mondale in 1984, especially considering the hardened ideologies of a nation that’s far more divided... but a trouncing could still occur if all the factors fall into place.
Big difference, especially based on a three-day average.

Looking at all the data and interviews, there’re plenty of former Obama voters who’ll never vote for him again. However, there’s NOT ONE 2008 McCain supporter who’s going to be voting for Obama. As for the 35% white vote, I think it’s gonna be more like 1% (college faculty lounges and MSNBC).
I have several family members who were caught up in the hope and change scat and voted for 0.....this time they won’t be voting Romney, but they won’t be voting for 0 either.....if you polled them they would say 0, but they won’t show up at the polls....they are sick of him and have given up on hope and change.
You are correct. There is no enthusiasm for Obama on the Dem side. Unfortunately we have a lot of buzz killers on our side who take every mention of Romney to dredge up and regurgitate every negative thing ever said about him.

The USA Federal Government is broke, and is forced to borrow 3 1/2 BILLION dollars from our grandchildren EVERY DAY!
This then is the Federal Grandchildren Tax, or FGT, separate from the FIT or Federal Income Tax that only 51 % of us pay.
2012 is the third year of the American Taxpayer Revolt, in spite of what our sorry politicians and apathetic Liberal Agenda Media try to tell us.

If Romney is elected he has promised to “keep the best parts” of Obama”care” and send it back to each of the 50 States, resulting in the Death Knell of each of the 50 States that choose to keep the Obama”care” Death Knell.
Right now there is a 50-50 chance that Obama will get re-elected.
No matter that Obama was the worst Federal Financial Steward EVER!
If Obama gets re-elected he will just declare, by Executive Order, that Obama”care” is legal, and thus the demise of America will be accomplished during his Reign of Obamanation.
If THE NINE SUPREMES knock down ANY part of Obama”care,” then Senate Minority Leader Son-of-a-Mitch McConnell and Esteemed Sobber-of-the-House Boehner will rush to replace the Court-damaged parts of America’s Death Knell.
The only possible positive outcome will be to ABOLISH FOREVER Obama”care.”
America cannot afford to continue Federal programs to buy votes with debt that we charge to our Grandchildren.
BTW, it is all very simple as illustrated by the words of Paul Harvey: “ WHEN YOUR OUTGO EXCEEDS YOUR INCOME, YOUR UPKEEP WILL BE YOUR DOWNFALL.”
