Accused murderer George Zimmerman reenacted for cops how Trayvon Martin allegedly jumped him and reached for his gun, painting the unarmed Florida teen as the aggressor in the deadly encounter.
Zimmerman led Sanford police through every step of the infamous showdown, one day after he blew away Martin during a Feb. 26 shooting that’s landed the neighborhood watch volunteer in jail, charged with murder, according to ABC News.
The dramatic blow-by-blow was made public today by defense lawyers, in the most detailed statement yet attributed to Zimmerman.
"He said 'Yo you got a problem?'" Zimmerman mimicked Martin to cops at the scene of the crime. "And I turned around and said 'Naw I don't have a problem man.'"
Zimmerman continued: "He said 'You got a problem now' ... and he punched me in the face."
The defendant claimed Martin gained the upper hand and start pummeling him mercilessly.
"My head was on the cement and he kept slamming it and slamming it," Zimmerman said.
"It felt like my head was going to explode and I felt I was going to lose consciousness."
That's when, Zimmerman claimed, Martin spotted the volunteer's gun.
"I feel like he saw it," Zimmerman said. "He looked at it and he said 'You're going to die tonight mother f--ker and he reached for it."
It was in that kill-or-be-killed moment, Zimmerman said, that he acted in self-defense.
"And I grabbed it and I just grabbed my firearm and shot him," the defendant told cops.

If there were a campaign to destroy the case against Zimmerman, dripping out the exculpatory details one by one over months would be the way to do it. It’s like when the Democrats slime a GOP politician. It may just be caused by the Extra Special prosecutrix’s suppression of the facts to begin with. (Do angry cops just keep dropping these bombs?) The prosecution will fail, and Sanford is going to have a problem from every direction.

You only have GZ's word for when TM first saw the gun. And we know that GZ is a liar and a sneak...a liar and a sneak who has a violent history.
I understand though why you ignore these things.

Actually, Martin was the stranger acting suspiciously. Zimmerman is a resident and Neighborhood Watch volunteer with the duty to keep his eyes on strangers acting suspiciously and to call police, which he did. GZ has every right to get out of his vehicle and walk around in his own neighborhood, so that cannot be claimed as the sole reason that this tragedy happened. You know that many other decisions by TM would have resulted in a much better outcome. One would have been for him to act with some common sense and talk civilly to GZ about why GZ was following him.
But, even if TM felt threatened by GZ following him, that does not give him the right to start assaulting GZ. If TM felt threatened, then he should have called 911 (instead of talking to his girlfriend on the phone) and/or went strait back to the residence where he and his father were visiting.
There is no evidence that TM saw GZ’s gun before the fight started. I really doubt that he would have engaged in a fight if he had seen the gun first.

The problem with the supposed girl-friend’s statement is that it is hearsay without corroboration. The additional problem for those who want to believe that TM stalked and attacked GZ, who was returning to his truck, is that giving her credence refutes that theory.

TM was also a “liar and a sneak” with a history of theft, drugs and violence.
Why are you ignoring this part? Does it harm your agenda?
