SL, the name “Obamagate” puts this right at the feet of who is responsible.

“Fast and Furious” is not self evident, nor descriptive of what happened. You and I know what it means, but the bulk of AMerica thinks it is a car movie, and what would a car movie have to do with DC?.

“Obama” and “-gate” are self describing and easy for people to grasp. Simple to say and remember.

Plus, it implicates Obama—whio is responsible for Holder and for asserting the executive privilege that has raised this from a contempt charge to a constitutional crisis.

Will our government vouch the purchased 40cal ammo is in safe and secure locations? Will our government provide assurance none of the purchased ammo went south to the drug cartels or other criminal subversives south of the U.S. border or outside our nation? Will an inventory be done to show our government has told the truth?

Frankly, I don't think the Dems will dump Oblunder for Hillary.

One, Hillary knows she would lose BIG.

Two, the Dems know they will lose BIG regardless of who the candidate is.

Expect the stonewalling by the Senate to break and we get talks on Budget, Immigration, all the things Dingy has gridlocked to protect Oblunder.

Nobody should truly be surprised at this development, everyone and his dog understands that the 0bama regime is a criminal enterprise which is so utterly corrupt that it makes his Chicago predecessor Al Capone look like the quintessential 'good government' candidate.

The 0bama regime IS a criminal enterprise, and more: it is exactly what Senator Joe McCarthy warned us about in 1950, about Communist subversion taking over the federal government, and the good-for-nothing Bush-RINOs (both GHWB AND GWB) plus the eight years of Clinton/Gore/Reno paving the way for the fascist super-state we see emerging more and more with every passing hour.

The 40 cal ammo went nowhere near the US government in that quantity. The House Appropriations committee cut it out of the budget and provided a quantity more along the lines that DHS usually purchases.
