Use the classic leftist line against them.

The CSPAN3 link posted here earlier was replaying this morning’s testimony. Looks like they’re live with continuing speeches now.

Thanks for the update about the testimony withdrawals.

They know, Holder and Obama , that they have stepped in this thigh deep, and desperation is setting in.

Now it makes the Dems on the Committee, who all fell on their swords on Holder’s behalf today, look monumentally stupid.

Like THAT took any effort.

Pass the popcorn!!!

FWIW, I heard one of the PA representatives (Meehan?) who slipped out to FOX say that they might not get to a vote today with all the speeches people will be making.

Norm —thanks for # 305. Had to step out for awhile.

No. 1 son called to see if his dad was OK, or in the hospital, or hyperventilating with this morning news.

I said no, son, I am strangely happy and at peace today, because Zippy stepped into it big time, and he will not win the Exec Privilege argument, and he has now implicated himself into Fast and Furious.

Having lived through Watergate, I know we will be able to hammer the Left on Obamagate, and hoist them on their own petard multiple times.

Dems will now be forced to either support a crook or to uphold the Constitution and the rule of law, just in time for re-election.

It will take awhile to all play out,but it will.

God shed His grace on America this morning, once again. May we be found worthy of it.

Earlier today, President Obama asserted executive privilege, allowing the Justice Depart not to release documents requested in the Operation Fast and Furious inquiry. Unhappy with this response, Rep. Darrell Issa proceeded with the hearing to consider Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress. Following up on the morning’s developments, House Speaker John Boehner accused the White House of a cover up.

Per the statement from Boehner’s spokesman Michael Steel:

Until now, everyone believed that the decisions regarding ‘Fast and Furious’ were confined to the Department of Justice. The White House decision to invoke executive privilege implies that White House officials were either involved in the ‘Fast and Furious’ operation or the cover-up that followed. The Administration has always insisted that wasn’t the case. Were they lying, or are they now bending the law to hide the truth?

Issa called Obama’s decision “untimely” this morning, adding that it wasn’t cause enough to delay the matter.

None on this committee. They have been unyielding in their defense of Holder and Obama.

I just called Issa office and told him he had millions standing behind him and to stand firm. She said she would give him the message. Give a call and support him. 202-225—3906 and press 4 to talk to a live person.

Thanks--hm--just did and talked to Walter, a very nice young staffer, who was very appreciative of the call.

I don’t think any of the rats on this committee will jump- particularly the wretched woman from New York.

I’m wondering where the whistleblowers are..and what about the idea that more info about the coverup would come out?

I don’t think the “Constitutional Scholar” realized the can of worms he opened when he declared executive privelege.

Thanks for the link, RC.

I enjoy the Ulsterman Report—the words of the White House Insider and the Wall Street insider are coming true.

WHI, the Old Man, is not doing well again—I pray he gets to see Obama leave the White House on 1/20/13 or sooner.
He deserves a statue in DC.

It's somehow fitting that a Rep named Lynch (Rat-MA) wants to add an amendment to the contempt resolution(?) that will show itemized costs of the investigation.

Cost info is not in itself a bad thing to know. However the costs have been largely driven upwards by the Obama/Holder stonewalling for nearly a year and a half.
