Army psychiatrist MAJ Nidal Hasan, who shot 45 people at an Army base in 2009, appeared in court wearing a beard and is refusing to shave it off. Beards are not allowed in the US military. We are going on four years this fall and this guy has not yet come to trial on charges of "workplace violence."
Because he’s one of Obama’s “people”. That’s why.
Strap his ass to a gurney and shave him with a lawnmower.
He’s being coddled because he is a Muslim. He’s a murdering, terrorist piece of shit, but we wouldn’t want to offend the muslims, would we? Not as long as our muslim president and his corrupt attorney general are in power.
Just take this muslim scum out and shoot him. The world will be a better place without Hasan in it.
Well... we already kinda know the answer to that...
He won’t be tried until Obama is out of office. Guarantee that.
I do not consider him to be anything other than an terrorist. He would only shave if he was on a suicide mission and I’m not surprised he’s being coddled. We are paying for his upkeep and that makes me angry!
He should have been shot or hung years ago.
Remember the “rules” are different for “Officers” than for scummy enlisteds.
Put post #1 and #3 together and it sounds like Dr. Suess!
Could the Army be any more shamed by this guy?
Why is he being coddled?
Because hes one of Obamas people.
Thats why.
Any FR poets out there who would like to add on to this? We’ll need a title for this, too!

One suggestion for an easy solution...
Make him an offer--let him decide.
(1) Shave and wear a uniform in order to stand trial in the U.S.
(2) Don't shave --wear a robe and a silly little muzzy hat -- and be tried in Gitmo as an enemy combatant.
FrankenMonkey Presidency Day One:
Hang this a**hole from the nearest lightpole.
Now on to Day Two...
Threaten to put him in a pen with a hungry rottweiler - he’ll shave it off.
Remember the rules are different for Officers than for scummy enlisteds.

Don’t we all know it. If we did this we would have been shot or pacing a cell in Leavenworth for the last 3 yrs.. Freud is rolling in his grave.
Im sure the Star Chamber could rework their schedule and get him tried.
1 Feb. 2013
Pres. Romney’s AG* drops all workplace violence charges and files domestic terrorism charges.
AG* - Preferrably the guy who argued against Obamacare, in front of the USSC.
Burn the beard off.
Tell that to Col Lakin
Why is this guy being coddled?
Why he’s one of Hussein’s fellow muzzies, of course.
Your attitude about officer vs enlisted says a lot and none of it good, but then the Navy always has been known for the arrogance of its officers so I could somewhat understand. The POS is being treated the way he is because of the dictates of the civilian DOD and some of the gutless Army senior staff who want to protect their promotion chances.
The turd is not a line officer, he is a MO. Aside from that I don’t see much difference in what they are doing with him than the extensive time taken with other enlisted incidents in the past. They take their time although for this one his “religion” is driving PC to the maximum.
I have seen this from both sides during my career; started as an enlisted Marine to the rank of E5 and retired as an Air Force O4. I have seen plenty of officers treated much more harshly than enlisted for doing the same things. The idea is usually that the officer is given more trust and responsibility and are expected to not deviate from what is expected of them. Only the protected upper ranks both officer and enlisted with “sponsors” usually get off easier with outrageous behavior.
Lather his beard with bacon grease and he’ll shave it off himself.
Start to burn it off; then put it out with an ice pick.
“Workplace violence”....Yes, let’s just ignore the fact that he shouted “Allahu Akbar” while he was shooting or that he was caught that morning on videotape wearing the full ice cream man outfit. Yes nothing to do with an Islamic terror attack here, move it along, there’s nothing to see here, it’s just “workplace violence” just like somebody beating up a boss cause he got fired.
Tightass officer in “Dirty Dozen”: “Dry shave ‘em”. In this case, I kinda like it.
That’s a silly choice to give him. Obviously, he’d choose Gitmo, with their track record for releasing scumbags back into the wild.
?
What’s different?
Save the “Lecture”. I have 20 years experience in the US Military. AND I had a FRONT-ROW seat to “Tailhook ‘91”. I then saw the Officer Corps(Navy and Marine Corps) cover each other’s 6 with things that would have gotten enlisted people a General Courts-Matial and a BCD. SO SAVE IT.
This judge needs to grow a pair and get this thing going, with or without the defendent in the room.
Why don’t you save it. I had 22+ years experience enlisted and officer. I saw what happened to the Navy officers during Tailhook and very few escaped. The junior and mid-level officers were scapegoated while some of the more senior got off lightly. I witnessed this same thing with AF and Army officers as well. Enlisted members who got into fights, drunk and disorderly, had affairs with officers were usually given a demotion or a fine, rarely a courts martial and sent on their way to rebuild their careers. For officers, even minor offenses were career killers and almost always the more serious offenders earned BCDs and did time at Leavenworth or some other detention facility.
It’s too bad you led an oppressed life as an enlisted member all of those 20 years. I experienced all of that crap as well from BOTH SIDES. I served with mostly outstanding enlisted colleagues as well as mostly outstanding officers and many officers who had been enlisted.
Attitudes like yours are as disruptive to unit cohesiveness and well-being as bad officers and senior NCOs are. You can take your personal issues and SAVE IT!
Hope your retired working relationships have been a better experience but based on the last 19 years of my retirement I doubt that you found the working relationships between the lower and upper working ranks to be much different from the military.
Our so-called military was in deep denial prior to the incident and then white-wash what really happened after the fact.
Revision of history soviet-style!
I prefer putting him in a large burlap sack filled with angry, hungry weasels.
Since this guy hasn’t been convicted he is still getting paid by the Army? wouldn’t be the least bit surprised.
Yes. I heard the other night on some TV show that he’s still getting paid $6000 a month.

Perhaps its a little silly to imagine the US military would play "catch-n-release" rules with the unrepentant daylight murderer of 13 troops.
There are different "house rules" for the compound in Gitmo--as opposed to the stockade of the local army base.
I think it might be in interesting turn of events.
Enjoy your day.
He needs to be given a shave with a guillotine.
Sorry, I just have no confidence in them after they’ve released so many terrorists back to try and kill more of our troops on the battlefield.
He killed one of the soldiers that I used to work with at Ft. Harrison, Mt
They had a show on this last night I was watching it with my father and we could-not-freakin-believe they classified this as “workplace violence”. One vet was shot SIX times and lived and they refuse to give him the Purple heart because of that classification. And he was just married prior to the shooting. And he wasn’t the only one. This vet Sgt. Alonzo Lunsford was shot six times as well and once in the HEAD and lived!

This lib mentality can kiss my ASS! They would rather our own vets die than “insult” these Islamic pukes.
Thanks. I was afraid of that.
Goddamit. Force shave the murdering bastard’s beard off and try his raggedy ass already.
This muslim army officer didn’t have a problem with shaving before he killed 14 Americans. His official army photo shows him shaved.
He is using this as an excuse.
Compare this to Tim McVeigh’s process.
You bet he is being protected from the White House.
