It was very easy for me to click through a few links and estimate that the Polk County Supervisor of Elections office has a full time staff of at least 25, and an estimated pool of 1400 paid temporary positions on election days.

Not so easy to find the same information regarding Palm Beach County..or Miami-Dade....

Anyone care to guess why that would be true?

As far as I know, Florida voters will receive new voter registrations cards during this month. I am doing a FL ping here to share again the link to find your particular FL County Sup. of Elections website. Once there the information for your particular county will be posted concerning dates, and election info. Also about candidates who qualified. Just click on your particular county.

http://election.dos.state.fl.us/SOE/supervisor_elections.shtml

Check out your County Sup of Elections and see who might be running against him or her. If your Sup of Elections has done a good job, like in Pinellas, by all means support him or her! Looks like the Palm Beach County Sup needs to be checked out! By the way, if you are in Orange County, please check out Dan Fanelli who is running for Sup of Elections! http://www.ocfordan.com/

ANOTHER NOTE: Go to this link to see the candidates who qualified and are running statewide in the Primary in August. Your Congressional District may have changed like mine did! Please check out your Congressional Primary candidates and give your support to your favorite!

ANOTHER NOTE:
Just heard this morning that LeMieux is leaving the FL Senate Republican Primary Race and gave his support to Connie Mack. I guess Mack is the favorite and the one with the most name recognition, but I am still supporting Mike McCalister to face Bill Nelson in November! If you happen to support Mike, please know he will need our $ support.

We need new blood in Congress, and I know Mike McCalister to be a fine Conservative, honest, and a plus for me is Mike is a Veteran. http://mikemccalisterforsenate.com/ Of course, I will end up supporting whomever wins the Primary to face Bill Nelson! We MUST send Nelson into retirement!!

This is an important development … in 2000 the Florida margin in Bush v. ALGORE was only 537 votes

Send Gov. Scott an email showing your support

“If the effect of the NVRA (Motor Voter) is to force a state to allow never-eligible non-citizens the opportunity to vote,” he wrote, “then the statute might violate the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution, which guarantees that the right to vote cannot be denied by a dilution of the weight of a citizen’s vote.”

As for the Voting Rights Act claim, Detzner wrote, Florida already received federal permission to remove noncitizens, which is clearly spelled out in Florida law.

What’s more, the Voting Rights Act applies to only five Florida counties — Monroe, Hillsborough, Collier, Hardee and Hendry — and not the other 62 in Florida, including Miami-Dade, where about 1,600 of the 2,700 potential noncitizens were initially identified by the state in a database created by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.

About 500 people in Miami-Dade have been found to be lawful citizens and voters, and 13 noncitizens have been found. Two of them might have voted and could face prosecution. The county has been unable to verify the citizenship of more than 1,100 others.

Assuming the purge halts, those people could vote this year — even if some are noncitizens.

"Not a single eligible voter as far, as I know, has been removed from the voter rolls," Scott said Wednesday on WNDB radio in Daytona Beach, according to a News Service of Florida transcript. "Not one. And we’re working to keep it that way."

"Their vote should not be diluted by people who don’t have the right to vote," Scott said. "We need to be reviewing our voter rolls and making sure only those individuals who have the right to vote … are voting."

“This hardly seems like an approach earnestly designed to protect the integrity of elections and to ensure that eligible voters have their votes counted,” said the letter, written by Scott’s hand-picked secretary of state, Ken Detzner, a fellow Republican.

Detzner also submitted a list of four questions that he wants the DOJ to answer:

LETTER HERE

Keys election chief: I'm done purging voter rolls

Hi Elle Bee,
I am sure many Florida patriots have joined us in sending emails and also made calls to Governor Scott and Sec of State Detzner to thank them for taking a stand on this issue. We Floridians demand that only living, non-criminal, Florida legal citizens vote in our elections!

The Feds were to provide the data base to Governor Scott and Sec. Detzner upon their request almost a YEAR ago. They of course delayed and did not provide the information. Now they say it is too late for the state of Florida to clean up their voter rolls.

We need to call out any Florida County Supervisor of Elections who does not follow Sec. of State Detzner’s directions! They need to be voted out when their position comes up for re-election!

Just this morning I received the following from a Freeper friend who used to live in Texas, but now lives in CA. Look what the city of Dallas did!! Great idea! It also could be a way to make sure illegals are not on the voter rolls!

The City of Dallas , Texas , has passed an ordinance stating that if a driver is pulled over by law enforcement and is not able to provide proof of insurance, the car is towed. To retrieve the car after being impounded, they must show proof of insurance to have the car released. This has made it easy for the City of Dallas to remove uninsured cars.

Shortly after the “No Insurance” ordinance was passed, the Dallas impound lots began to fill up and were full after nine days.. Over 80% of the impounded cars were driven by illegals . Not only must they provide proof of insurance to have their car released, they have to pay for the cost of the tow, a $350 fine, and $20 for every day their car is kept in the lot.

Accident rates have gone down 47% , and Dallas’ solution gets uninsured drivers off the road without making them show proof of nationality.

Our Tea Party Group Backs Governor Scott on the Purge of Voter Rolls!
On February 9th, 2010, Judicial Watch announced the launch of its 2012 Election Integrity Project to pressure states and localities, through Judicial Watch lawsuits if necessary, to clean up voter registration rolls pursuant to Section 8 of the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA). A Judicial Watch investigation based upon publicly available data indicates voter rolls in the following states appear to contain the names of individuals who are ineligible to vote: Mississippi, Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Florida, Alabama, California, and Colorado. The Election Integrity Project will be conducted in partnership with True the Vote and the Election Law Center.
