Obama snubbed me, says McCain

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said this week that President Obama never made a sincere effort to reach out to him after the 2008 election
.
.
He said he expressed eagerness to work with the president on immigration reform and the line-item veto, but has been left out in the cold.

McCain, the ranking Republican on the Armed Services Committee, also said Obama failed to consult with him on national-security issues.

“He never asked for advice on national-security nominees,” McCain said.
.
.
McCain pointed out that Obama invited him to the White House in 2009 to discuss immigration reform.

“I said, ‘I’d love to join you,’ and never heard from him,” McCain said.

Obama snubbed McCain? Shocking after all Obama is such a nice man at least that is what McCain said to constituent who was trying to warn John about Obama. John McCain is a sucker!

Were I President, I'd snub McCain, too.

All he's ever done for the conservative agenda is gotten in the way.

McCain sucked up to Obama and Obama kicked him in the teeth. This is Obama's pattern. He is never, ever 'grateful' to any Republican for anything. In fact, Obama is rarely very grateful even to his liberal supporters. McCain's ego is bruised. Too bad, he helped give us Obama. GOP presidential candidate John McCain famously said (3 weeks before the '08 election) "we have nothing to fear with Barack Obama in the White House", inferring that if we did fear the Marxist America-hater, we were, all together now: 'racists!' McCain can go cry on his pillow. I'm not interested in his whining.

Boo frickin’ hoo.

If you’d actually, oh I dunno, RUN AGAINST HIM, you could be snubbing him in a much saner, safer and less divided America.

Cry me a river.

The fool doesn’t realize that that’s what you get when you “reach over” and “reach across the aisle.”

Hey McCain, you performed your service to Obama in 2008.

Go home, he doesn’t need you any longer.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, so sorry Juan.

Maybe Obama thinks that Juan would want to be in the photo for the op, or something like that!

Shows what a jerk McCain is or idiot as well - he actually thought that Obama was serious about "working together" about wanting t"o do the best for the American people," "reach across the aisle" and all that.

That is the first good thing that 0bama has ever done.

I agree. McLame didn't even try to win in 08. He deserves to be snubbed.

Well, he’s not alone in that. It’s what the Eisenhowers and other Obamacons or Obamacans expected.

McCain’t thought that just because he womanized, couldn’t fly a plane, and embraced socialism that he’d be treated like a Kennedy by the rats.

By trying to be “moderate”, McCain has made himself lukewarm, neither hot nor cold. And, like in the parable, despised by both sides...
