Republicans are criticizing the Obama administration’s new leniency for some illegal immigrants as a politically motivated and possibly illegal effort to win over Hispanic voters.
The Republicans contend the new rules — which will prevent deportations for as many as 800,000 illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children — circumvent the law just to buy Obama support from Hispanics ahead of November's elections, in which the Hispanic vote will likely be crucial.
Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, said the change marks "a breach of faith with the American people."
“This huge policy shift has horrible consequences for unemployed Americans looking for jobs and violates President Obama’s oath to uphold the laws of this land," Smith said in a statement.
“How can the administration justify allowing illegal immigrants to work in the U.S. when millions of Americans are unemployed?” he added. “President Obama and his administration once again have put partisan politics and illegal immigrants ahead of the rule of law and the American people.”
On Twitter, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said the policy would entice people to break the law.
“President Obama’s attempt to go around Congress and the American people is at best unwise and possibly illegal,” he tweeted. “This is a classic Barack Obama move of choosing politics over leadership.
“This decision avoids dealing with Congress and the American people instead of fixing a broken immigration system once and for all,” he said on Twitter.
Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) piled on, arguing that changes of such significance should require the approval of Congress.

Obama has been violating his oath of office since the day he took it ..... so what else is new? Since no one has dared say ‘no’ to him in any consequential way, he’s been emboldened and continues to thumb his nose at the Constitution, the American people and both the Congress and Supreme Court. If dissing the Mooch & his kids would buy him enough votes, he’d do that too.

One of the articles of Nixon’s impeachment was breach of his constitutional oath of office to faithfully execute the laws of the country. Perhaps in anticipation of the SC decision in the AZ case, Obama decided to preempt its objective ahead of time. So in one stroke he violates state and federal law and thumbs his nose at SCOTUS. Trifecta! We are now a banana republic, Kenyan style.
Don't just do something, sit there.
My prediciton: House GOP will pass legislation (even though we already have laws against what Obama is doing here) and it will go to the Senate and be added to the dust bin full of bills Harry is sitting on.

If it’s legal (which I doubt) due to the fact that Congress has unwisely delegated its own authority to “regulations”, then shut up.
If it’s illegal, then impeach.
In either case, it’s long since past time to stop talking.
We’re not even sure he took one. He botched the public oath and retook the oath in private with no cameras.

He delivers this illegal diktat amidst news reports this week that jobless claims continue to rise, the economy continues to slow, his support among Blacks is on the decline, and Americans' median net worth has fallen 38.9%.
He can spin and jive all day long, but people are not buying his lies. The economic carnage he has wrought is there for all to see.
Now he's further diminished employment opportunities for legal citizens.
Seriously? Some of you want Republicans to start impeaching President Obama? Why would they do that when a good portion support amnesty? They are probably behind the scenes celebrating as we speak.

Many Theologians focusing on eschatology believe that America is not alluded to in the Bible, symbolically or otherwise. The reason: During “end times”, America will be either (1) non-existent or (2) insignificant because of its weakness.
Maybe Obama has been put in place to fulfill the tragic plan, i.e., to destroy our country.
Congress needs to start impeachment hearings against this POS, the problem is that most in the GOP leadership are just as dirty as he.

Senator Lindsey Graham is not, in my opinion, worth responding to. He is an obama aider and abettor. As well as holding the title of,”The Pride of South Carolina.”
Ok why doesn’t Congress do anything to stop him from his tyrannical behavior? Obama had taken over the entire country, invalidated the Constitution and run roughshod over our civil liberties... Why do they just sit back on all this?

I feel the answer is easier than an ultimately unsuccessful impeachment attempt:
1) Tie the implementation of this illegal lawmaking up, in court.
2) The States may feel perfectly free to ignore illegal lawmaking.
3) Start laughing at Obama, mocking him mercilessly, for being an impotent loser who has no clue -- after 3.5 years -- what his job is. He'd crack under derision. It also defuses anyone from taking this illegal lawmaking seriously.

I called Brady’s office (you have to hold a mirror to his face to see if he is breathing) and got some staffer. Poor kid. I am in no mood for political double speak.
They were “surprised” and had not had time to “formulate an position”.
I told him that if they didn’t respond and stop this that Congress is meaningless and that he is already.
At least Palazzo has a position if not a good one.
We have to ask though, is our outrage what he wants? How does it help him? What is the smart thing to do here? This is politics, it is evil. To win it should be simply a matter of right and wrong, lawful and unlawful but it isn’t that way anymore and probably never has been.
I just spoke with a very cordial young lady in Congressman Mike Roger’s (R-AL) D.C. office! She said I was the nicest of the MANY calls she had taken just today - despite my adamant statement that this “USURPER-IN-CHIEF” (NOT my President) needs to be impeached and tossed out of office.
I repeated the same message to folks in the D.C. offices of Senators Jeff Sessions (R-AL) and Richard Shelby (R-AL).
And you will be politely ignored, just like all of us and just like the Constitution and just like the jobs we hired them to do.
They don’t mind you calling because you don’t matter.
