Democrats Fear Obama May Lose

WASHINGTON (AP) — In growing numbers, once-confident Democrats now say President Barack Obama could lose the November election.

--snop--

In 2004, it was the Democrats who had the big money operation on their side. Groups like America Coming Together and the Media Fund raised about $200 million to help John Kerry's presidential campaign with grass-roots organizing and advertising. But the donors who helped that effort — financier George Soros, film producer and donor to liberal causes Steve Bing and billionaire Peter Lewis -- have vastly reduced their political participation or stayed away all together this time...

--snop--

But five months from Election Day, several national polls show Obama and Romney locked in a tight race, as voters vent their frustrations over the nation's economic woes. May figures showed that employers created a meager 69,000 jobs and the jobless rate ticked up to 8.2 percent. And this week, the Federal Reserve released data showing that median family net worth shrank in 2010 to levels not seen since 1992 after adjusting for inflation...

I believe enough of the US public is smarter than that so that he loses in an electoral landslide. It may still be amazing how many people vote for him, but, I see a trouncing of historic proportions. He’s failed, why not?

Should we start a betting pool on when the first national-level Dem compares Romney or his future running mate to a Nazi?

No doubt they'll try that, but it won't work. The biggest complaint about Mittens is he's a RINO, he started RomneyCare and he's not a real conservative. Now Hussein's campaign is trying to scare people off about this big bad conservative Romney? I don't think so.

As usual Axelgrease and the rest of the brain trust trying to reelect this clown are throwing $h_t against the wall and seeing if it will stick.

You, Sir...have provided a most excellent analysis! If you are not already, you should be teaching Civics, or History classes at the college level... to gift some of the up and coming academic commies with the truth! :)

I think we'll see a landslide in Nov. If that happens the question will be, do we get another 2010 in congress and in the states. If so, we have a chance. Mittens is a moderate, with progressive tendencies but he's a political whore (pardon my language). If he sees a conservative wind blowing out of congress, he'll play along, Otherwise, his natural progressive tendencies will take over. In short, he's a progressive, but not a "true believer" like Hussein. He's not willing to go down if he sees the majority is opposed to big government (kind of like Clinton , minus the sleaze)

It would be a tragedy, but what if Obamacare wins? Would it be a new ballgame then?

I know it won’t work. But we need entertainment. Remember Wellstone’s ‘funeral’? They’re cute when they’re scared.

"billionaire Peter Lewis"

Got quotes for car insurance earlier this week. Progressive was the cheapest. Told the agent there was "no ******* way" I would buy from that company.

It’s funny, but I know a number of die-hard Democrats, folks who voted for Gore, Kerry, etc. who cannot bear the thought of a second Obama term.

But I bet the idiots would vote for Hillary

In addition, look for a ratcheting up of “Bush’s Fault"

This is an easy one for the GOP to counter. Just create yard signs and commercials that simply say "obama 2012; Running Against Bush...Again".

Only chance Obama has to win this , is to turn Mitt into the Boogeyman..Expect a barrage of negative ads against him the likes of which we’ve never seen.

I’m pretty confident that Romney wont lay down like McCain did, and will fire back at every turn..I wasnt crazy about him, but the one thing I always talked about with my friends and family, was how ferocious Mitt was in going after the other GOP candidates, and took that as a positive sign of how he would be vs Obama.

We need a fundamental transformation of our own. Newt might have given it to us, but will Mitt?

I'd submit that most anyone who understood the mewling marxist in 2008 played economic "duck and cover" the past 4 years.

If a "President Romney" enacts immediate business friendly reform and private tax relief along with government downsizing the American economy would resound with an Earth shattering boom in short order.

If romney behaves as a fiscal conservative and keeps his liberal social policies buried, where they should be, he would become an American hero.

Otherwise, there won't be anyone who will stand by him if he screws up like obama.

I’m betting it will happen at the national convention.

As a side bet, the MSM will edit it out of their videos.

Meanwhile, Obama has been engaged in continuous fundraising, grabbing money for his own race, potentially draining the pool of money that other Dems could have gotten.

Are the Dems finally realizing that Barack Obama is destroying the Democrat Party?

Obama's Clown Posse is busily turning off any remaining white Democrats from wanting much to do with the Dem Party.
