Gallup: More people still blame Bush for poor economy than Obama

I keep waiting for these numbers to start moving.

Annnnnny day now.

Quinnipiac’s polled this question repeatedly and their numbers are strikingly static too:

I’ve always assumed that the flatness of this data is due to people reserving judgment on O’s economic record for as long as they can. They like him personally and want to give him the benefit of the doubt so they’re waiting to see if he might yet still have a few bonanza jobs reports up his sleeve. But now I don’t know. The May jobs report was so awful and the prognosis for the rest of the year so grim that I figured we’d see some movement in this metric this time. Nope.

Nothing sticks to obama,,,nothing. It's infuriating. And because nothing sticks to him, he will in all likelihood get another 4 years.

This would be horrible news if Bush were running this year....

As long as there are more Democrats than Republicans, this will be the case.

Don’t be so pessimistic.

Dems are getting shredded in elections all over the US.

The economy is clearly taking another leg downward and this plays perfectly for November.

In all the entire recorded history of the known universe, NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is as stupid as the pig-dog American voter.

The demofilth party has been openly, blatantly, proudly treasonous and hateful of EVERYTHING American for at least 50 years, and yet...

Carter, Clinton, Clinton II, Ofiltha, a dem congress for 45 of the last 60 years, etc., etc.

The American pig-dog voter is neither evil, nor anti-American; he is just dumber than the sub-human filth that he elects on a regular basis.

Obamney will be painted as “Bush the 2nd” this summer and Zero will get another 4 years ... YOU CAN BANK ON THAT!

Obamney was the worst possible candidate for the GOPe to pick. I can’t believe that no one else could have stepped forward this primary season.

It really doesn’t matter who wins, we are ALL screwed.

First off, this is a Quinnipiac poll.

Secondly, this makes Dear Reader appear all the more impotent - he cannot overcome the power of a man who has not held office in nearly four years.

How soon people forget. The economy was starting to look soft during the 2008 campaign, and started softening up more as soon as OZERO started leading Hillary in the primaries. Then, when that COMMUNIST started leading McCain after the conventions, we moved into recession.

When OZERO swooped in with his big tax hikes and LITERAL seizure of the means of production, things REALLY hit the fan. That’s when job creators just said F-— NO and started shedding employees as fast as they could.

And the economy has been getting FAR WORSE ever since!

First, I am not convinced that Obamney will get the nomination. The patriotic rank-and-file conventioneers could still wake up and do the right thing. Second: ANYBODY could beat OZERO.

If he thinks he can win by wining about how it’s not his fault, more power to him.

52% blame Obama -- and he IS running this year.

They would be silly not to blame Bush. MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC, NPR, NYT, and WaPo all tell them it is Bush’s fault. What kind of Democrat would trust his own lying eyes when all the experts disagree with what he sees for himself?

As long as the majority of voters get their information via the MSM, the majority of voters will hold positive opinions of Democrats.

“The patriotic rank-and-file conventioneers could still wake up and do the right thing. Second: ANYBODY could beat OZERO.”

the vast majority of people I know and meet don’t think of politics virtually at all. And yes, a lot of them do think Bush and the Repubs did this to the country if asked. And Zero got handed a $hit sandwitch.

Man, there are sooooooooo many STUPID people out there!

I hope that folks start to look in a mirror to see the problem with our economy. Almost everywhere I look folks think that they can get something they want and get someone else to pay for it. Bush is a problem. Obama is too. But to some degree they are both just symptoms of the moral rot.
