Obama believes the most important issue of second term is 'climate change'

President Obama is quoted in a New Yorker column by hooked-in journalist Ryan Lizza as believing the most important issue to address in his second term would be climate change

"Obama has an ambitious second-term agenda, which, at least in broad ways, his campaign is beginning to highlight. The President has said that the most important policy he could address in his second term is climate change (italics mine), one of the few issues that he thinks could fundamentally improve the world decades from now. He also is concerned with containing nuclear proliferation."

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed
(and hence clamorous to be led to safety)
by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins,
all of them imaginary.

I agree with him. We need to change the climate in the Oval Office.

Decades from now, the world will be back in the stone age anyway after being at least one generation removed from the impending economic and moral collapse of Western Civilization.

So the “global warming problem” will resolve itself on its own.

The most important issue of his first term (and hopefully ONLY term) was health care. THAT worked out real well, didn’t it..

And zero’s opponent has the same stance on “climate change”. At least he did a couple of months ago, I haven’t checked lately to see where he stands on the issue nowadays.

Can you point to a single reference where Romney has suggested that climate change would be the most important issue of his first term?

Leonard Nimoy was the host of that show, without the pointed ears. Looks like another time for a “Beam me up Scotty” moment. James Traficant is laughing too hysterically to ofer a comment. Maybe that is his comment.

He already told us long ago his big three were Energy, Education, and Healthcare. Healthcare, depending on what SCOTUS says, has been taken care of. He may or may not have nationalized student loans, or something big like that; I can’t be sure. So much happens. Anyway, there are or aren’t big things left to do for education.

That leaves energy, and the big thing there was always Cap ‘n’ Trade. That never happened, so duh, of course it’s the big item for Obama, Part II.

Of course...it is a perfect fit to Hussein's agenda of subordinating the private sector to government.

Most radical president there has ever been.

Like all leftists, he has had to hide his true agenda up until now. If he gets in again, Katy bar the door. He will tear this nation and it’s traditional freedoms and ways to shreds.
